To those who don't know me, ahoy hoy. I'll be around favoriting things and/or stalking authors. Some may even know me from other sites I visit such as Myth-weavers (hint, remove the numbers from my username :p).

So, I'm attempting to write my own fan-fic (details near the bottom) and I'm managing to do some slow updates (about one every 2 weeks), but hey, they're getting there at least.

Currently interested in lots of things, some new, some old, some current. Special focus on Gatchaman and Getter Robo. I also enjoyed the Avenger's Earths Mightest Heroes run as well as Naruto, One Piece and all sorts of other happy jazz and the like as well as games like final Fantasy or TCG's like Magic the Gathering.

Currently, I'm writing out my own Gatchaman AU. It's saga is known as "The lost Owl and the Phoenix", which uses Ryu Nakanishi (G5) as the protagonist where (spoilers!) it alters the history and state of Gatchaman universe (enough) that it's a complete parallel universe to the original.

This series takes heavy inspiration from various other Gatchaman and Battle of the Planets authors that are too numerous to count, so I'll just give a blanket "your all awesome" to them all since each and every single one has helped craft this series.

However, A special shout out to "Madilayn" from the gatchfanfic site is needed. In particular, the "Phoenix" fic. That is the whole spark that started this entire thing and will have quite a few similarities. Mainly about why Ryu and the God Phoenix have such a strong connection (although there are other reasons). I also blame Marvel for rerunning The original X-men cartoon, specifically the Phoenix Saga.

"The lost Owl and the Phoenix" Fiction Status

(Prelude Fic 1: This is our Story): In this world, The God Phoenix is actually a sentient, nigh-omnipotent being that can't directly defend the universe or the likes due to some high law or the likes (undecided as of now lol). So instead she peaks into the future (to an extent) and alters the timeline to bring the Science Ninja team together.
Status: Complete; Chapter Count: 4

(Episode 1: The other side of the Story): The second part of the story hints (well, both the first and the second) at what world they are in, before it eventually caves in chapter 4 and pretty much states exactly what dimension they are in. To those that are somewhat knowledgeable of this universe, you'll see some things which I've drawn inspiration from to help craft my universe (and was also hinting at in the first fic). You can pretty much guess what's going to happen in a later fic of mine.

(Episode 2: Owl! Assemble!): For part 3, Ryu needs to adapt to the new world until he has a way to get back home. I do hope I caught the personalities of the other Avengers correctly, but just encase they may all be a little OOC. Again, I've drawn inspiration from other authors for this that are too numerous to list so another blanket "Your all awesome" will go out to them. This is the Fic I'm currently working on. It also draws upon some details taken from the previous two 'episodes' in this series and towards the end, actually explains several plotholes I created in them (yes, there are a few plotholes purposely in there.) I'm sure readers will know what will inevitably happen soon. And believe me, it is going to be soon. ;). For purpose of fitting in the time-line, like my previous two fics, it's post Avenger's Season 2 but unlike those two fics, it's both near the end of Gatchaman, all of Gatchaman 2 and the beginning of Gatchaman F (That's right, there is 'time manipulation' going on in the fic later on :p)

(Episode 3: Owl and the Phoenix): For part 4, Ryu now needs to control the power of his Phoenix Force, kindly nicknamed, GP. And the best place to learn how to control developing Telepathy, Telekinesis and a Phoenix Force? The only place that has any experience in that kind of setting. The Xavier's Institute for the Gifted. Continuing on from Owl! Assemble!, Owl and the Phoenix depicts Ryu's life with coming to terms with his powers, his increasing connection with GP and developing his emotional attachments to various people in the Marvel-verse. Set post Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Season 2, Post Wolverine and the X-men and set around the beginning of Gatchaman Fighter if you want a timeline.
