After Edward Elric's home is burned down by a pair of the King's Musketeers, he embarks on a journey to Central with his younger brother Alphonse to take his revenge. He does not realize he is about to join the Musketeers corps himself, meet two disgraced members of Xingese royalty walking their own paths of revenge,and meet the King who bears the same image as his missing father.
