I read widely across fandoms, but tend to prefer source material aimed at adults, rather than YA. Even when I'm reading Harry Potter fic, I prefer stories where they're aged up. I'm more likely to write fic to correct something in canon I find irritating than I am to write from pure love and joy.

This is probably a sign that I've become that humorless old stick they warn you about in YA and Middle Grade adventures.

I organize a writing critique group in real life, so I have a lot of practice cheerfully giving and taking critiques. If you read my stories and don't like them, feel free to leave any kind of comment you like. Just be aware that I don't give refunds.

Other things I do in real life: knit, parent, work in grassroots politics, occasionally teach yoga, catch Pokemon, read at open mics, roll my eyes at dudes with beards who brew beer, support my local library, obsess about reggaeton artists who cross over into pop music and pop artists who dabble in EDM, spend half an hour trying to clip my shitty chihuahua's toenails, smash the gender binary.
