We may live in two different countries but we have a few things in common (superglue, if you like) which have kept us friends since we met a year ago: our love/obsession with Snape and Alan Rickman!!! In particular, we like a Snape who stays in character and we hope that in our writing we do him justice. Here's a little bit about the two of us:

Jak: I live in Denmark, and have been writing fan fictions for quite some time, although I only recently began to upload some of them. My original account here is: addicteddict - so feel free to go explore my fanfictions! Teaming up with Kate had been nothing but fun, and has definitely broadened my English vocabulary!

Kate: I live in the UK and haven't actually written any ff before. Teaming up with Jak has given me more confidence in my writing, and I hope to be posting some of my very own Harry Potter/SS stuff here in the near future.

Note about 'Our Tainted Veins': this story totally started off as a private roleplay, for personal fun only, and then we decided to have a go at publishing it. Due to its origin, the structure of it, and the number of OCs, may not be to everyone's taste but we've done our best to adapt it for ff during the editing process. Emily Massie-Blomfield was the creation of Kate, and the following OCs were created by Jak: Faunia, Dahlia, Hoo, and Julius. Some of these OCs feature in other ff stories, and in artwork on Deviant Art. Please read and review - if you have any criticism, please make sure it's constructive!!
