Hallo again, friends.

So, I decided that, while the story was not crap, I simply could not continue with it. Since it was so long ago that I posted it, I forgot the storyline, and deleted the Word file containing the story. So, in its place, I will be posting something else. A new fanfic, this time taking place in Hoenn. It is called Heart of Hoenn, because the main character's name is Heart, and I'm not very original.

The story takes place seven years after the events of Emerald, when the weather in Hoenn is getting completely out of hand, threatening to destroy the entire region one island at a time. The main character, Heart, spent her entire childhood in the weather institute with her father, and knows everything there is to know about the weather in Hoenn...except why it's suddenly getting so fierce. Steven, who had taken over the Devon corporation after his father's death, seeks her aid in trying to find answers to the pending cataclysm. She herself is not a trainer, but has made friends with Pokemon all over the Hoenn region. With their help, she hopes to find the source of the weather problems. But she has to act fast, before its too late.

Does it have anything to do with Teams Aqua and/or Magma? Probably not.

Will I include legendaries? Probably.

Other random things about it...

1) the pokemon do 'talk.' HOWEVER Heart is not like N. It is not natural for her to understand them, but it is instead a side-effect of having an extremely powerful psychic type Pokemon with her 24-7. Clara acts as a kind of translator.

2) I'll post a list of characters soon, so you don't get confused about who's who. Of course, I'll do my best to introduce the Pokemon discreetly within each chapter. It'll really be more of a reference sheet than anything else. It will be updated as more characters are added/introduced/encountered.

Now about that Nuzlocke run...it's new. Inspired by boredom, mostly. You may get confused, since both characters are named Heart...but it's also fun, since I've decided to name all the characters and Pokemon after people from my favorite animes. if you can guess who they are, you get fake bonus points. if you get a million fake bonus points, you can trade them in for a spiffy new air guitar.
