I have several stories in the works. I had one half published here, a Witcher 2 fanfic with my favorite character of all time in it. Iorveth. However, I wasn't quite happy with how I portrayed him. I felt he needed to be slightly... darker. So, I have re-written the first couple of chapters somewhat, but my muse for the story sadly died a bit. In no way have I abandoned it, I'm just taking a slight break. So, since I'm not quite sure when I'll have it completely finished, I took it down for the time being.
I have moved on to writing another fanfic for Skyrim and a certain Stormcloaked Nord that has a bit more of my interest at the moment, and maybe it will help spark that flame back into life for my Witcher 2 fanfic.

Another part of my problem is that I like writing long, in depth stories, not just a few chapters that rush through things. I like a good build up. In fact, sometimes the build-up are the best parts in my opinion. Let's put it this way, the Skyrim fanfic I am working on started out as a simple "short story" but is now over 60,000 words long and I have no idea how much longer it will drag out...
I also have a problem with dialogue. I know how I'd want my characters to act and think, but how they'd speak? That I have issues with. I feel that the words I put down for them to speak are more my own than what they'd actually say. I've been working on this, and I think I'm starting to get better, but I'm still not quite happy. I am my own worst critic I guess!! Especially since I've never really done fanfics before and I feel I need to do the original works some justice since they inspired me to write something for them in the first place.
