Status Update: I'm on summer break!! MLP:E&E still won't be getting updated for a whlle; in fact I may just put it on hiatus. I will be continuing the story but not anytime soon, I'm afraid. Sorry!

For every time your parents argue, just remember over millions more have suffered with their parents in divorce.

For every insult given to you or somoneone else, another physical cut is made from a harshly bullied child.

For everytime you see a vicious dog, know that its past has been full of abuse and neglect.

Remember that, for every time you lose a friendship, one is being broken by the barrier of death and life.

Remember that every time someone is shot down, they rise.

I encourage you to look around your support school at kids. And while doing so, remember...

The loneliest kids are the most considerate,

The most abused kids can fight the longest,

The rejected kids can try the hardest, and they can do better with a friend by their side.

I want to remember all these things next time you go to a school,

Remember the names of the kids that seemed to be hated most; for, if you do, you will almost most definetely recongize them (once adults) as successful people.

Many people who are widly known and loved have been bullied, and forgive their bullies for what happened. So, the next time your life gets rough, just remember.

See that girl you just called fat? She is starving herself. You know that girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting on make-up hoping people will like her. That boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that old man you made fun of cause of the ugly scars? He fought for our country. See that young boy you just made fun of for always being sick? He has to walk home in the snow cause his family is too poor. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying.

TEN SURE SIGNS THAT YOU ARE AN OBSESSED FANFICTION WRITER

1. When you ask yourself a question as one character and respond as another one.

2. When you begin to compare what a friend says to something one of your characters would say.

3. When you are talking to a friend and you suddenly scream, “Oh my god! I just got the greatest idea for a story of mine!” and your idea has NOTHING to do with what you were talking about.

4. When you lock yourself in your room, crank up the music, and act out an entire story…and then forget everything you thought of.

5. When you are listening to a song and go “Oh my god! This song is exactly what (Insert story here) is about!”

6. When you run around the house dancing and thinking of an idea, acting all crazy, and write the scene that turns out to be a very sad, calm scene.

7. When you fear to daydream because you are afraid of your characters hunting you down and killing you for the torture you put them through.

8. When you can’t fall asleep without thinking about what is going to happen in your next chapter.

9. When you begin to in vision your own version of someone else’s fanfic.

10. When you think out loud and start giggling and jumping around talking to yourself when you come up with a good idea.

On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (No shit, Sherlock.)

On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only." (Wow. Any other modes?)

On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use." (Which is...?)

On Sunsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts." (Ya think?)

On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hand." (Really? Wonder who thought of doing that. And what Insane Asylum they came from)

On plastic wrapping: "Do not put on head...may result in suffocation." (Naw, it allows you to breathe underwater! OF COURSE, IT CAN SUFFOCATE YOU!)

"Lack of reviews is the greatest killer of fanfic writers out there. We at the institute wish to let the public know of how they can pitch in to save our dying writers.

1) Drop a review every other chapter. It may not seem like much, but reviews are actually what many of us want to see. That, and hits. Hits do make us happy but we don't really know if people like our story or not.

2) Visit our author page. Those kind of hits really make us happy. It's where we showcase our entourage of friends, beta readers, and stories. Some of us even tidy up with set areas for upcoming story ideas and character bios.

3) Send an email. While normally I'd prefer a review, emails are just as good. Really, it warms my heart to communicate with another reader or writer."

What you call being "too lazy to review" is what we call "a flame to the pages" as the writers. That one minute or two that you felt "too lazy" to review is another minute of creeping discouragement that all writers feel as they begin to think...

"Why am I even here…?"

"What's even the point of continuing?"

"My skills must be terrible…no one cares for my story…"

"I'll never be a good writer...I quit."

These are only a few thoughts that go through every writer's head- that go through MY head- when we put out a chapter / story with all our heart and soul within, and we sit there…and sit…and wait…and not a single person says even a word.

If you're not a writer, you have NO IDEA how much that hurts…

If you ARE a writer, then I'm sure you know just how great it feels when someone is kind enough to leave a heartwarming and encouraging review, and you read it, smiling while thinking…"Wow…fuck...I did it…"

So, why not give fellow writers the same luxury here?

Too many times I've seen epic and utterly beautiful works of literary art fall to pieces before finally being abandoned due to the terrible discouragement that the lack of reviews can cause.

Sometimes, it is so severe that the very writer himself decides to quit, denying the world his skills of writing that I'm sure it would have deeply enjoyed.

So…

Just one minute, that's all it takes. Just a few gentle taps of the fingers on your keyboard, a few seconds or so of your time, and your words can SAVE a writer from a dark demise.

Do me a favor: Go find a story, ANY story, anywhere here on Fanfic.net, and see if you can help it. If it has very little / no reviews at all, just check it out, and say whatever comes to mind.

And enjoy the thought in mind that you could have just SAVED that story, with just a few taps of the keyboard…
