Will stay here for a time to finish some of the major fanfics of animes I've watched.

Pet peeves:

General fanfiction:

The protagonist kills the enemey, the intruder, etc...And then goes on with his life as if nothing had happened. No consideration of the human being beyond the word 'enemey'. While this is can be expected in some worldsetting, it is still quite close to Nazi ideology, and the education involved therein usually is 'thought it myself' or single sentence, not drilling from early age. Even worse if the protagonist is shining example of friendship and kindness, even in the face of betrayal and attempted severing of bonds otherwise.

Younger than teens(that means 12 and under cast) acting like asexual adults, often even better than actual adults in the story. This is usually shared by the entire cast. I don't think I need to explain, but how often does one have someone they wish to emulate, look up, etc. Twilight or Justin Bieber wouldn't have the following they did if those ages really acted like they are written pretty much all the time.

Plot: Seen many nice plotbunnies go awry because the lack of quality storyline beyond the initial thought.

Genre: High-school fics. The worldsetting is there for a reason, even ignoring the need of it for their personalities one doesn't need to put the characters in an enclosed space for the interaction.

Training from hell: The protagonist studies from dawn to dusk, each day, getting tired conveniently in the evening with the lack of breaks, never lacking motivation or anything. Sure, it can help push the conflict forward, but normal people who are studying for their future hardly try to do anything like that - the protagonist trains like the long-term goal is the only thing they are living for, and gets everyone of their friends to do it too, nevermind the personality differences. There is a reason for the "from hell" part of the name. Plus, really really overdone. People aren't RPG heroes.

Harry Potter: The wizarding world being 'normalized' - as in, as soon as the protagonist start to work real-world stuff replaces wizarding world culture post-haste. The end result is often pretty much wish fulfillment of having magic real, other than that the people don't seem to be any different from the average 'muggle'. Voldemort's reign is rising in the seventies. The enlightenment or French revolution or the technology wasn't stopped from moving in because of them. Oh and there are far too many pairing fics in general and due the lack of developed (both male and female, really) characters, Harry/Hermione fics in particular - not a bad pairing when you first come across it, better than Harry/Ginny but the way that was set up in canon it isn't much of an accomplishment. Another thing is that Harry/Voldemort fics have more variety than Harry/Hermione fics...And that pairing is cliché to the bone.

Naruto: Painting Kakashi as a villanious teacher, then going off to shadow clone train in hundred techniques. Most people in the series use only one or two, aside from the basic . Generally, they are much like Noble Phantasms: coveted, powerful and usually costly. Copy-ninja uses pretty much only his Sharingan and Chidori with the occasional clone. He knows over thousand, yet so far has used less than half a dozen. There are some quite good reasons for that, with some being that they usually take handseals, they always take chakra, they need to be integrated into your fighting style to be useful and the time taken to clap your hands is enough time to take a kunai to the knee.

Also, Konoha being the bestest-best village when Mizu could routinely slaughter 50 out of 100 yearly. Though, the discrepancy of Rookie Nine and five shadow army of 100 000 people(they take missions, how can they even support that many mercenaries - never mind that Mist could never be major with average number of candidates being around 100 with that big of an army).

Bleach: This series has quite bad tendency for boring invincible hero. That, and one-dimensional characters in general - Mayuri the criminally mad scientist, Aizen the smug bastard, Kenpachi/Grimmjow the insane fight maniac...Okay, they promote some of the reasons behind that, but people aren't defined by their hobbies.

Elfen Lied: Diclonius escapes, tries to get friends and family, facility gets after her, separation, conflict, surprise assault. Don't just rewrite the plot of the manga/anime.
