Hi, lady-pumpkin-pie here,

A little about me. I spend far too much time reading fanfiction when I should be writing essays instead. I'm a terribly picky reader, and will abandon a fic with bad spelling/grammar unless the story has REALLY captured my imagination. That said, my own writing is probably less than perfect, but hey, we're all usually far more critical of others than we are of ourselves.

My favourite fandom is probably Harry Potter, but I love NCIS and the West Wing too. I love Remus/Sirius, time-travel fics, Severitus (and other Snape-bonds-with-Harry-but-not-slash fics) and general hurt/comfort and family fics. In the NCIS fandom, I love fics that focus on Gibbs and/or Tony, especially family and hurt/comfort genre fics, preferably with a sickly sweet mushy ending. In the West Wing, I like Josh/Donna and CJ/Simon Donnovan or CJ/Danny. I also really like hurt/comfort and family fics in West Wing fiction. I'll read fanfics from any fandom though, if they're any good - oh and well-done crossovers can be amazing.

I strongly reccommend any of the authors or stories on my favourites lists. Perhaps my favourite fanfic of all time is 'A Year Like None Other' by 'aspeninthesunlight'. It's a novel length fic about Harry and Snape, with Snape eventually adopting Harry. I think I've read it at least three times, and enjoyed it just as much each time, so give it a go. It's not on this website (or at least it wasn't last time I checked), but you'll be able to find it at 'Potions & Snitches' and at fictionalley too, I think.

When I'm not reading fanfiction, I'm reading something else or watching West Wing or NCIS. Or sometimes walking my dog. Or, well, studying, of course...

NB: Some readers may notice that I have recently deleted my fanfics from this website. I apologise for this, if you were reading and enjoying what I was writing. I have come to the conclusion that for the foreseeable future, I don't have the time to carry on writing, and I felt it wrong to leave permanently abandoned fics online, since I know how irritating it can be to readers. I thank all my readers, and especially my reviewers - your kind words were wonderful to receive.
