Hi everyone!

Not really sure what kind of things to put, so I'll just put some things about me here.

Fun Facts:

I actually get a lot of fanfic ideas (I'm almost always getting a new one; heck, I got a new one earlier today [9/3/19]), but I never write them because they're not fully developed or take too much inspiration from (or are too similar to) something that's already on Fanfiction. I also might not write an idea because it's not the kind of story I would write. Maybe I'll make a section on here for all the ideas I've had that I think other people could write better than me.

I don't like to publish a story unless I already have it typed up or finished. If I haven't finished writing the draft, I can't guarantee I'll finish the story, so it's better if I don't publish it (don't want to subject anyone to that). So far the only exception to that is Ghostly Adventures, since it's not like any of my other ideas (don't worry, I have plans for what will happen).

Update on Ghostly Adventures (As of 9/11/19):

As stated in chapter one of my crossover, I will update on Wednesdays (usually first thing in the morning) when I have a chapter ready to be published. I'm aware it's been a while since I've updated this story (over a month). The next chapter is complete and will be published 9/18/19.

As for why this one took so long, here are my reasons:

1. My original draft for this chapter no longer fit the storyline, so I had to write a new one that fit better (this is a good thing).

2. I fleshed out the new draft A LOT when editing it (I think this is also a good thing; got to add a nice something I hadn't thought of until I was fleshing it out).

3. Trying to figure out how to format this chapter was a pain (is that a reason? Maybe not, but I want to say it, so here it is).

Author's Insight on Ghostly Adventures (Spoiler Warning)

Chapter 6:

I didn't really think about it at the time I wrote it, but Nami's comment: "Maybe instead I should be asking what we're getting into by inviting a halfa to hang out with us..." is actually a great set up for a new phase in this story. In other words, consider this short chapter a transitional chapter that introduces the general theme of the next set of chapters. I can vouch that this comment fits well into my plans.

Chapter 7:

I based Danny's emotional talk at the end of the chapter (as well as some of the buildup) on some of my own experiences with these kinds of emotions. Towards the beginning of the buildup, Danny's mind forms a bit of a dark cloud at just one reminder of how different he is, and once it's there, it messes with his thoughts as the conversation continues. This has very much happened to me before. And just like I was aware that this was happening, Danny was also aware, but trying to logically tell himself he shouldn't be feeling the way he is doesn't help. I also used to have thoughts like that, and it was because I couldn't understand why I was stuck in that dark cloud. I imagine it was the same for Danny. So he tries to ignore his feelings. His long rambling is both him running away from and trying to avoid anymore thoughts like he's been having. He tries to distract himself and forget about it, but these aren't solutions, and he eventually talks himself into a corner. Throughout the rest of the conversation, Danny's emotions boil, but when the session actually ends, he's changed. Instead of running or avoiding his emotions, he feels the need to talk about them. I've also felt this way before. It's sometimes not easy and because it's usually so personal and sensitive, I only talk with someone I feel comfortable being vulnerable around. Danny's desire to talk is strong enough for him to do so with Chopper, but even then he still hesitates to share what's really on his mind. I originally had an admittedly overdramatic scene where Danny shared these feelings with everyone, but I realized as I was editing that I would never share these kinds of feelings and thoughts with so many people, so I had them all leave and drastically altered the conversation to match the kind I have when I talk to my mom about similar feelings. No dramatic crying or sobbing, just some silent tears and an occasionally tight throat, all spoken with a calm voice.
