Emma Swan makes plans for an adventure, but as plans so often do, hers goes awry. Falls to pieces. Sends her hurtling, disguised as a boy right onto a pirate ship captained by Killian Jones, pirate extraordinaire (his words, not hers). It's going to be a long month on this adventure. Emma is prepared to make the most of it, but she isn't prepared for him.

A portal tears apart the barriers between worlds, dragging Emma and Hook down with it. The search for the portal that will lead back to Storybrooke detours through new lands and old territories where things are no longer the way they were. AU, Captain Swan. Emma goes through the portal alone, and is stranded in a world she doesn't She quickly encounters a rather dashing pirate, but despite making a deal with him to get home will she be able to trust him enough to work together? Or should she even trust him in the first place?

The last thing Emma could remember was shoving the compass into Mary Margaret's unsuspecting hands and pushing her through the portal back to Story Brooke. This will be an adventure not only for Emma to find her way home, but to allow old habits to die, and love to blossom.

Once there perhaps she had frolicked with a young Pan, while crossing paths with the devilish Captain Hook. Had it all been a dream? Or had the strange land actually existed, the faded memories real. Emma likes to sleep with her window open. She never quite realized who she'd be inviting in.
