Where normally there were sparks of electricity and high pitched beeps and boops there was now a red liquid dripping from her tessen and a gurgling sound emanating from behind the soldier's mask. This wasn't a Footbot; it was a regular, human Foot Soldier. And she had just killed him. (Rated T for mild gore.)

He forced his legs to move one in front of the other across the dew laden lawn. Even though he'd only visited the spot once, his feet still remembered exactly where to go, and as he approached his destination at the edge of the trees, he felt his body go numb. His mouth was suddenly dry, but he willed himself to speak regardless. "Hey, Mikey."

2k12verse. Raphril. April has been waiting for Raphael to make the first move for the longest time. Now it's late & they're alone & watching a horror movie - it's literally the perfect moment so why hasn't he kissed her yet? BOYS.

Set immediately after The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman. As a thank you for reverting him back to his human self, Kirby O'Neil treats Donatello and his family to a weekend at a secluded campground in the Catskills Forest Preserve. Donnie hopes for some quality time with April, but things don't always work the way we wish - and sometimes they're much better.

It's been a year since Donatello caught her for the first time, and though April now knows that her new family will never let her fall, that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of challenges they still have to face. The adventure continues in Season Two of "Falling." (Cover art by yipyop)

This story came to me as an idea in exploring April's perception of the Turtles and what must be some jarring contrasts that combine in their identity as teenagers, ninjas, and mutants. That, and I just really wanted to give Don some nice meaty action.

He’s hanging upside down in the middle of the great underdark, weighed down by a half hysterical turtle in the middle of a bunch of pipes and water and rock that are conspiring to kill us both off, and Leo still manages to sound like he Has A Plan.
