I like various media movies, TV shows, games and books. The stories I write can vary depending what has caught my interest and if I can be motivated to write.

Batman

I’ve liked the Batcat pairing ever since I could remember. Out of all the other pairings with Batman, Catwoman is probably is the only one who likes Bruce and Batman the rest just seem prefer one or the other. What has annoyed me recently is how DC just seem to have paired him with every female in the DC universe because he’s popular. One the most ridiculous person he has been paired with is Barbara Gordon. I like Barbara as a character but as much problems Bruce has in general as well as problems with his adoptive son Dick Grayson I doubt he would want to make it worse by putting the moves on his adoptive sons’ childhood sweetheart.

Catwomans Fresh Start – Finished , Possibly be up for a rewrite

The first story I wrote on this site. I might decide to rewrite this one as there are a few errors and could use some more detail in some areas. It depends when I feel motivated to do it and when I have the muse to improve.

Couples Therapy - Finished

This one I wrote on a whim one evening. A lot of people write Harley as a victim but there were times on the animated series she gave as good as she got. I always saw her as a hyper obsessive fan girl. It doesn’t matter whether your hero or villain you adore her which makes you underestimate how dangerous she truly is.

Arkham Rescue - Finished

I love all the Arkham Games even if I do find it difficult to pretend to give a damn about Talia in Arkham City. In Arkham Knight I actually ended up finishing the side missions before the main story (including Riddler trophies). It was kind of annoying how all of these side characters like Catwoman helped Batman out in their separate mission but offered no help in the finale stage. I think it would have made the ending so much grander and there would have been no need for Bruce to reveal his identity. Revealing his identity doesn't just affect him it affects everyone in his circle and can't see him doing that even if he was retiring. I wrote this as a different ending to the game with a small amount of Batcat for a guilty pleasure.

The Tudors

I am a big history fan particularly the Tudor era. There have been some shows like Reign where I found the historical inaccuracies distracting. The Tudors however have a good blend of politics and romance. It is also good at making these historical figures look human rather than one dimensional.

Some Things Never Change – Finished

I’m an Anne Boleyn fan. Here was a very intelligent, charismatic individual that was brought down by her own obsession to keep her place in her husbands’ heart. I’ve seen some fanfics where she and Henry have been reincarnated before where most of them end happy. However I thought to have this one end in tragedy to keep in character. I’ve also included Henry getting his comeuppance which is richly deserved.

Jane’s Series of Unfortunate Events – Finished

I may be an Anne fan but I refuse to villainise Jane Seymour. I think all Henrys’ wives were victims in some shape or form. Jane was raised to obey her monarch and that is what she did. I don’t think she did love him as a man like Anne most likely did but she had made the most of what she was given which was not a lot. Even if she did survive she would probably have still been treated badly. This story is in Jane’s rise to power from her point of view.

Sanctuary - In progress

I've read quite a view stories where Anne escapes Henry to France and somehow becomes Queen of France. Whilst I do find some of them enjoyable I've decided to take a different approach. Anne dies and Mary goes to Francis for help. It amazes me how much their relationship is ignored and is never written about. Jane Seymour survives but her relationship with Henry isn't going to be a happy one. Henry is going to work out that having everything that he ever wanted isn't going to make him happy at all. They will be some inaccuracies concerning age of characters e.g. the age gap between Prince Charles of France and Elizabeth and some historical events. Also English is my first and only language, congratulations to those of you who use multiple languages in their work but I don't feel comfortable doing it so you're just have to use your imagination.

The Addams Family

I love the films in the 1990s’. I was too young to remember the TV shows but the cast in the movies are my favourite. I can’t imagine anyone else who would do better at playing them. I also like the dark humour.

Rotting Together for All Eternity - Finished

I’ve seen many versions of how Morticia and Gomez met. This is my own personal spin on it. Unfortunately it is probably the only story on the Addams Family I’ll write because I can’t think of any stories to write about. However this story I’m probably the most proud of.

Once Upon a Time

One of the first stories you read about as child are the fairytales. I enjoy seeing fairytales in many different medias including Once Upon a Time. However recently I felt the show has lost its way a bit. It once worked so hard to humanise all the fairytale characters, villains included but now the characters don’t seem human. Emma doesn’t strike me as a hero now but more of a villain, her selfishness and disregard for other people in season 5 was disgusting. The way that the show pretends Neal never existed is also disgusting and the way they have turned Rumplestiltskin into a pantomime villain with no redeemable qualities is lazy writing.

Child of Darkness - Finished

Is probably the most difficult piece I’ve ever wrote. I’ve tried to keep with shows theme of having flash backs in the story but also try to make them relevant and keeping continuity is hard to say the least. The pairing I’ve used is Hooked Queen which will probably upset some Captain Swan shippers but I feel Regina and Killian have more in common in terms of background and motivation. I’ve also made Regina the daughter of Rumplestiltskin to throw in more conflict in the relationship. It’s based in season 5 and follows canon to a certain extent but has moved away from canon as the story progresses into the Underworld. Neal features in this story and plays a major part in the Underworld rather than a foot note.

Mortal Kombat

One of my favourite games when I was younger. Unlike most fighting games it has a decent story and every character is unique in terms of moves. The movie was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me and I was most surprised when the game developers included the Cage/Blade pairing in the reboot. I've only just recently gotten back into the games again and I like how they've fleshed out some of the character stories in the reboot. However I'm slightly disappointed with how Kitana's character has turned out. In the first timeline she got progressively stronger and became a leader in her own rite but in the second timeline she just blindly follows Shao Khan then later Liu Kang never really cementing her own identity. Maybe she'll develop more as the timeline continues but even so she is still one of my favourite characters to use in the game. Some people may not like the new generation of fighters but I think they are good. The original Earth Realm Warriors were thrown together unprepared for what they were facing. It's interesting to see them learn from their mistakes and using what they had learned by teaching a new generation to work together and use more diplomatic means to solve their problems whilst using violence as a last resort.

Please Don't Leave Me - Finished

Just a oneshot based on the Cage/Blade pairing which I always found interesting. In some ways they are polar opposites but in other ways they bring out the best in each other. Johnny becomes more down to earth whilst Sonya lets her guard down. I don't think Sonya pushed her family away out of selfish ambition but more of fear of losing people who are precious to her. Whilst I do think Johnny still loves Sonya I think his main priority has always been Cassie. I don't think he joined Special Forces to stalk his ex-wife but more like fight in Cassie's corner.
