Everything you ever needed to know about lsdonjuan

Firstly: about the user name - no reference to lsd intended, Don Juan best sums up everything non-hp that I love, and ls are simply my initials. Don Juan is a womanizer, inspiring many of my favourite authors and my favourite opera - by Mozart, books by Camus, George Bernard Shaw and Kierkegaard. They think that at the first performance of Don Giovanni,Giacomo Casanova himself was in the audience and i love the irony.

Secondly: I'm an avid reader of fanfic, and read many series - but my first love is hp. I adore Hermione central stories, but sometimes make an exception for good Harry/Draco. I'm not a Ron basher - but he shouldn't be paired with Hermione, their relationship will never work in the long run! It seems to me as if her intelligence and maturity should automatically place her with an older man (or mature youth), and so that's what I tend to read. Anything slightly dark, or realistic, or even angsty (not whiny) tends to be a hit - but humour is great when I'm feeling down.

Finally: when I do write my own fics they are posted on petulant poetess in their original work category () - every time I have written fanfic so far it's turned horribly cliche, but i hold hope for the future.
