Hi, all! Thanks for checking out my story!

I plan to focus on posting a single story here with intentions of it becoming more of a major work. I wouldn't say that I've ever written a "full-length" story before, so I hope you can bear with my fumblings in the genre.

As for its content, the majority of its characters (outside of the Pokemon concepts themselves) will be originals, as well as the layout of the region itself. I will also be drawing parallels to the main series games and hope to stay within the lines of the unofficial-official timeline for them as well. But in the hopes that this story will be relatable even to non-pokemon players, I intend to write in such a way that prior knowledge to Pokemon will be as unnecessary as possible.

Slight side note, but college is busy and also does a great job of simultaneously stimulating and sapping my creative energy. I can't promise an update during that time, but I'll update when I can.

A little about me though, I love me some Pokemon! I've played just about every main-series game there is with the occasional spin-off and have enjoyed it since around 2007 (If I remember right). I dabbled in card-playing, but have mostly been focused on competitive VGC play with my greatest achievement being that of taking 1st place at a regional in 2012 and placing in the top 32 at US Nationals that same year. Nowadays, I play more casually and prefer exploring Pokemon's stories as opposed to competing. I don't really play much outside of Pokemon, though. But outside of games and such, I love studying psychology and how we think as well as finding greater meaning in unlikely places.
