4/10/2016- It's two a.m. and I've finally finished putting the final touches on the fourth chapter. I only had a 1000 words yesterday and I got it up to 5000 (or around that at least, who really cares?). So be happy, because I broke my brain all for you!

No just kidding, I'm really enjoying writing this. I hope you guys enjoy reading On Writing!

By the way, if you're seeing this and not the update, I'm going to try and publish the chapter around noon today.

4/02/2016- Now my third chapter has been uploaded. It didn't really get as much attention as I would have liked, but I'm going to keep writing, don't worry. I think it might have been partly to do with timing. Lots of people uploading chapters in the Pokémon category.

Also, if you guys see anything that you hate in the story or writing, let me know. It'll give me a good idea of what I'm doing wrong, and I'd like to write a story that both the readers and myself can enjoy. On a related topic, I decided to take out my second paragraph in my first chapter entirely because it was irrelevant and boring. I think the prologue is better for it.

3/27/2016- Hey, just thought I'd let you all know I updated my two chapters, changed them over to informal writing from formal and made minor changes in the writing. No deviation from original plot or anything like that. I'll probably be making a lot of alterations throughout the story as I write it.

3/26/2016- You know, I really wish I started writing this sooner. And other half-imagined projects too. I'm enjoying this even though it's hard, trying to write and apply lessons given to me in my life in the hopes of creating something even readable let alone enjoyable.

Speaking of lessons, I've been reading On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King. My dad gave me that book a long time ago and I never did read it. I haven't read many, or maybe even any, of King's books but he can definitely write. Obvious statement is obvious. When I titled my fanfiction King's book didn't come across my mind, but I'd like to think that I'm doing the title justice. With delusional dreams of glory, I'll keep on writing!

Anyway, I should have an update today or tomorrow, if you're dying to know.

3/22/2016- Hey guys! I've created a poll on this profile, as you can see, but I'm not too sure how much it'll effect my own writing. At the moment I'm not writing at a steady enough rate for one of these options to be possible and while I've got good ideas on what'll happen throughout the story, there's still a lot of planning I should do.

Anyway, I'm mostly curious on your own preferences, I know that for myself I like to see updates quickly if I'm really into a story, but I also know that if the story stops updating before finishing-for a long time-I find it really hard to get back into it.

3/19/2016- Uh, hi! I'm still DarkNights89 if you recognize that handle, and if you don't, don't worry about it!

So, I'm updating my profile 'cause I've started working on a Pokémon fanfic and I thought I'd let you all know. I'm really excited to get my first chapter done and uploaded but I don't know how long it'll take. It's about a quarter of the way through right now.

If you've been following my favorites, know that I'll be deleting a few stories off my list so if you like any, favorite them yourself. I doubt anyone has, but I like shouting into empty internet space.
