Author has written 3 stories for Destiny, Star Fox, and Zootopia. If you would like me to check out a story of yours, feel free to shoot me a message. I will be more than happy to comment/critique it! My only stipulations are thus: You've ran the story through a word processor to minimize spelling/grammar mistakes, and you've put your 100% effort into the story. I will give you no more and no less effort than you put into it.
My goal is to essentially turn this profile into a hub of my favorite stories. I'll give a brief "fan-made" synopsis of the story, then I'll give a little blurb as to why I like it. I'll try to be fair, and give each one the summary it deserves. If you don't like how I wrote the tribute (and you're the author/owner of the tributee), then let me know, and I'll remove it or change it accordingly. (*I can write my own stories now. Huzzah! But this whole paragraph is still valid!*) A side note on story updates should anyone actually care: Updates will be erratic, and I can promise only one update per week. With classes and a full time job as well as various things that need to be done around the house, my only free time is from 12-1PM and 10PM-12AM (central). My Favorites List: (Stories) Worse Than a Pair of Handcuffs by Donrocs1: A rather intriguing, yet comical approach to life in nuclear fallout America. When one sees a story about a scarred and out-of-place man, paired with a homicidal robot, who literally gets skewered by a giant hyper-mutated weapon of war, one does not expect to see this! But that's totally fine. All the better, in fact. Star Fox: Exchange Student by XxSanitariumxX: Probably THE most popular fic in the Star Fox archive, "SF:ES" is a must read for nearly everyone who is a fan of SF. Whether you crave the light-hearted humor (well, I suppose it is comparatively light, as most of it is sarcastic thoughts and banter. However, a lot of it IS suggestive/violent) and interspecies romance that is dominant in the beginning, or the more heated action and darker themes of the last few chapters, this story can quite literally entertain ANYONE who reads it.Tributes to rising stories: Deuterocanonical: Destroy Malevolence by Order and Chaos— Qui Iudicant: Deuterocanonical: Destroy Malevolence (title is based on a Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode of the same name, I seriously love that series.) is a work that clearly displays the authors devotion and knowledge in literature, Star Fox, and advanced science fiction ideas. It contains a healthy balance of both fast paced action by putting you inside the cockpit with a few ace pilots in the middle of the dogfight of their lives as well as slow paced exposition when the story shifts to the quiet throne room of the Aparoid Queen. Qui Iudicants story is a sci-fi fan's wet dream, and contains a literal treasure trove of technological theories/ideas, action, and even some political intrigue (and LOTS of references for the seasoned vets). However, it is not for everyone. This story is NOT a light read, and can confuse someone who has not yet read a fair amount of sci-fi books of adult level comprehension, and/or are too young to grasp some gravitational and FTL theories (as a rule of thumb, if you don't know what FTL means, you should not be reading this story quite yet).I like to game it up on my Xbox One on the weekends (mostly), so if anyone's interested, my GT is th3blAkm1st (lame I know, but it's 4 years old) and I am also a part of the Destiny clan Silent M Games. (Kudos if you get the joke! :B It's also not meant to insult, so please don't take it too seriously.) | |||||||
