![]() Author has written 21 stories for Animorphs, Fanfiction Poetry, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bones, and Covert Affairs. I've been writing stories about my favorite fiction characters since 1997, maybe longer, but for the longest time I didn't know there was an outlet for such "fan fiction" so I kept it to myself. I discovered ff.n sometime around 1998. It's been a great experience! A little about me: I was born in 1981. I graduated from university in 2004 with a degree in Animal Science, Linguistics & Spanish. I live in the midwestern USA with my husband and cat. I work full-time as a receptionist at a big fat office. Writing is how I keep myself sane, so I don't end up living the "Office Space" nightmare. When I write, I write the stories that I want to read. I'll start with a "what if" idea and try to follow it through. I really have no thoughts about audience when I write, I just write for me. But I figure that if it's a story that I want to read, there might be others out there who might want to read it too. That's why I publish here. In hopes that I might answer someone else's "what if" in the process of answering my own. Thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoy! P.S. I have a wordpress blog with some of my in-progress work and unpolished plot bunnies. It's rineatanoniel.wordpress.com for those interested. Pirates of the Caribbean If you read my POTC fics, you'll notice I am exclusively in favor of the Will/Elizabeth relationship, and also very interested in the relationships between various generations of the Turner family, including Bootstrap Bill and young William Turner, Will & Elizabeth's son. In my POTC universe, the curse will eventually be broken, and both Will & Bootstrap will be freed from the Dutchman. Jack does visit my universe from time to time, but he's so exhausting to write that he doesn't show up as often as I would like. If you're here because you started reading Ten Years At Sea, and you're disappointed that I never finished it, I am really sorry. I had ambitious dreams for that story, but just wasn't able to do with it what I had hoped. BUT, the good news is that many of the chapters that I wrote for it I am now posting as one-shots. So be sure to check out all of my POTC one-shots. I am also working on a multi-chaptered story about Will's retiurn at the end of his ten years on the Dutchman, it's called "Homecoming" and I've started posting chapters, so subscribe!. |
