So... ah... as it should be obvious, I'm really bad at regular writing. In my defense, there was an absolute metric shitton of stuff that crashed on me, either in parallel or serial, over the last few years, and I'm only starting to cram them into some semblance of order and neatness.

Perhaps the terms "cram" and "neatness" shouldn't necessarily be used with each other. ...eh, it fits. It's also irritating that it's taking me this long, but so it goes.

But, hey! You're not here to listen to me bitch! I have a twitter account for that. No, you're here for quality fanfiction. So here's the plan: as part of the effort to get some personal stuff squared away, I'll be churning out a minimum of a chapter a week. A chapter of what, I'll let my muse decide - oddly, that's actually neater than forcing a strict schedule onto myself. Guaranteed output of quality, rather than forced, serial shite.

(I'll actually be working on two chapters a week, but the second one's for an original project that likely won't see the light of day anytime soon.)

Possibly bigger news, given that it was my biggest fanfic success to date, is that I'll be rebooting "Evolution of Suzumiya Haruhi." Er... from scratch; possibly with a new title. It was my most popular fic; it was fun to work on whilst I was still on a hot streak; it deserves another day in the sun. And, yes, I thought "The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi" was beautifully executed - why the hell do you think I want another shot at playing with that world?

Shoutout to Durandall of "Kyon: Big Damn Hero" for pushing me over the edge with that ridiculously awesome fic of his. I am humbled by its audacious execution - and piqued as to whether I can still pull off anything close.

Final note: There's a risk that I'll end up spitting out a sprawl of randomly updated fics instead of just focusing on three or four. To that: oh well. I'll start pruning again when I figure out which ones I actually like~
