![]() Author has written 25 stories for TV X-overs, ER, Bourne series, O.C., Phantom of the Opera, Jericho, Misc. Movies, and Gossip Girl. Updated August 24, 2014 I discovered fanfiction in 1999 and have been writing stories on and off ever since. I like to think I have grown as a writer and if you compare my earlier works to my current ones, I think you’ll agree. I live in Canada where we learned British spelling (colour, NOT color!) but I’ve read so many American books, my spelling is probably 90 percent British and 10 percent American. Deception is available for purchase. It is a revised/edited, more professional version of what has been posted here. As of July 19, 2006, a downloadable version is available at a much lower cost than the printed book. Please visit my Lulu webpage below for details: Or come and visit my Facebook Group, Deception: A Phantom of the Opera Novel: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=626611928#/group.php?gid=75377566351&ref=mf My background is in Biology and Education (I worked for several years as a substitute teacher) but I am now doing administrative work at the local university. I love live theatre, especially musicals and classical concerts, and films (I’ve even worked as an extra in films). Despite my current little obsession with Phantom of the Opera (in particular, Gerard Butler!) I’m not a big fan of opera. My favourite musical is a toss-up between West Side Story and Les Miserables. Actually, since I’ve seen so many profiles with “lists”, here’s one of my own: Recent films I’ve seen and recommend: The Grand Budapest Hotel, Into the Storm, Chef Highlights of musicals I’ve seen (a full list would be too long): Fav symphony: Dvorak Symphony No. 9, “New World” Fav band: matchbox20 List of actors/performers I’ve seen up close that are memorable, for various reasons: Michael Ball (note: the only one in this list that I actually talked to!), Joshua Bell, Philip Quast, Colm Wilkinson, Sandra Bullock, William Hurt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hayden Christensen, Julianna Margulies, Benjamin Bratt, Alexis Bledel, Gerard Butler. Fav author: used to be Dean Koontz, but he completely lost me after The Taking; I hated it, though I don't even remember why. I still love his "classic" books, like Watchers and Lightning. I guess I don't currently have a fav author! Fav cities I’ve visited: Vancouver, Halifax, Thunder Bay, New York, Washington, Chicago, Tokyo, and by far, my absolute favourite is London, England – the architecture, museums, castles, theatres…I was in heaven and didn’t want to leave.
