The author is someone who is reaching the age where she is expected to put aside childish things like comic books and cartoons (well, depending on who you ask -- my mother for example -- I hit that age about 7 years ago at age 15). I believe that the term 'childish things' needs some redefining. I have a fixation on the X-men universe, as well as assorted anime, and Star Trek. I don't write nearly as much as I'd like to.
