My name is PixyChick, which I arrived at in what I deemed at the time a fleeting moment of brilliance (Ooh! It sounds like 'pixy stick'!) and have since then ceased to be thrilled by. My other name happens to be Lauren, which is semi-common and semi-boring. My middle name, however, is a bit better, deriving from my mother's former hippie days. Its name, well, my middle name is Skye, which I happen to like a trifle more, but will forever be buried behind my name of Lauren for the rest of its days.

I like things. Ooh. Most of us do.

I like The Beatles and I like Harry Potter. I like more things too, like cheeses and such. Probably the list of things that I like would bore you. Probably I won't write anymore about that particular topic then.

With me being a writer of some sort, I find it fun to take a gander at the lovely things that others with some literary skill have written. I marvel at the way some of our fellow writers here on fanfiction.net can spin a web of intrigue and romance and mystery and action and general wonderfulness. To have such a way with words would be a marvelous gift, indeed. For that reason, I applaud the following:
