Title: The Perfect Christmas That Never Was Summary: Status: Posted once a very long time ago. It is now being revised and will be posted by Christmas Eve '04. Title: Year 1- Change With The Light Summary: Near the end of the gang's 8th grade year, Helga, Lila and Rhonda get into a little tiff at Olga's wedding and later at the reception Lila gets into an accident and everyone blames it on Helga... She is hated for this... Over the summer Helga falls into a deep state of depression and this goes on for the entire summer... Now she is to start her freshmen year at Hillwood High and must face everyone again... of course, nobody will have anything to do with her... even her and Phoebe's friendship seems to be on the rocks... the only one who will seem to have anything to do with her is Stinky who knows that Helga didn't try to harm Lila... Arnold has also been receiving some strange letters lately... letters signed by his parents... what's going on? Status: Chapters 1 and 2 in progress... Title: Year 2- Paint It Black (title subject to change) Summary: The characters move on to their second year of high school. The intense hate between Helga, Rhonda and Lila is just as strong as ever. In fact... Lila and Rhonda seem to be getting out of control. They and their posse are so caught up in themselves that they fail to even realise that many are turning their backs on them and refuse to associate with their kind. They are "popular" only amongst themselves. Arnold's kind heart is getting the best of him and he is trying to forgive Helga and possibly befriend her... but several incidents change his mind. Helga becomes even more distant from everyone even Dr. Bliss who helped her immensely through her freshmen year. Stinky has become more of a friend to Helga and he and Phoebe are the only ones she will speak to as she continues to slide deeper and deeper into the dark depths of depression... Will there ever be light again? Meanwhile, Arnold, in addition to receiving some strange letters has been receiving some strange phone calls as well... calls that contain a cryptic message... Status: Planned out but not written Title: Year 3- (title pending) Summary: Junior year rolls around... The most stressful year of high school, they say. Helga is under much stress trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life... She herself isn't even sure if she is going to have a life to do something with. She has sunk yet deeper into hopelessness with only Phoebe and Stinky to keep her from drowning. Stinky has realised that his feelings for Helga are more than just those feelings of friendship. They start to date for a while... but as much as she love's Stinky she knows that she will never love him the way he loves her. Will their relationship last? And what's up with this? Rex Smythe Higgens III has transferred from his fancy boarding school to plain old Hillwood High... Why? and Why is he trying to befriend Arnold? Also, the school is hyped up about an essay contest... The winner will get to take a group of friends anywhere in the world that the winner wants to go to. Arnold is so intent on winning... He wants to go to San Lorenzo and hope that he can find out about his parents. Helga also wants to win... she want's to go somewhere in the British Isles... Apparently everyone has their own plans of what they wish to do with the prize... But who will win? Helga also later overhears something that she wishes she never heard... Now the lives of many of her peers are at risk, as well as her own... What will she do? Status: the whole thing is outlined... and random pieces are written, so I guess it's coming along nicely. Title: Year 4- Feint (title subject to change) Summary: Finally the gang is in their senior year. Everyone is very excited, knowing that their great trip is approaching... Who would have guessed that the winner would be from their own school, much less their very own senior class. But alas... some plans are subject to change... The prize winning destination has been changed... ...And so has Arnold's life. Status: Outlined and bits written. Title: Finale- Everytime It Rains Summary: The final installment of the high school years. I reserved an entire story for their senior trip... The end of senior year is coming to an end and Mr. Simmons senior class is going on their senior trip, which would have not been possible without the contest winning essay of one of his very own students. In England (yes, I spoiled it...well... If you have read the current three chapters I have posted you would know this.) Helga meets a guy who seems to be quite smitten with her... but is he all he seems? The gang is on a rocky ride as a wonderful senior trip gets turned upside down by a series of unfortunate events. Fingers get pointed at Helga and drama ensues. Will things come together in the end? (I have no clue.) Status: Chapters 1-3 are written and posted under my other account. They are in the process of being rewritten, yet again, and will not be posted until after the previous 4 parts are done... so this fic... is on hold. |
