I’ve been really lazy writing lately. The last thing I posted was a crappy poem after I read Order of the Phoenix. I was very emotional then *sniff*

Ok, I’m going to cut the crap and get to the point. I’ve gotten out of my writer’s block and have plenty of ideas for fics (mostly Newsies one shots to improve my style while I work on a large MWPP era fic for HP). Unfortunently, I’m back in school now and since I have all advanced classes, have very little time on my hands to write. When I’m home all I do is work on homework, help mom with housework, exercise (which I must do everyday to get ready for gymnastics tryouts) and try to have at least a little social life. Writing kind of gets pushed to the side with all of that

But I’ll try. I really will

At the moment I have a rough draft for two different one shots (they’re pretty good for me) and a half a chapter of my MWPP fic (that one’s going to be revised and revised till it’s perfect) I hope to get one of the one shot’s up in a week *crosses fingers* but I’m not making any promises

Now to say a little about me...

I’m a teenager living in the Southern US who is... interesting

My personality is pretty hard to describe. I guess I’m just the queen of mood swings. Like today I’ve gone from normal to suicidal (first time in months. I blame school) to uber-hyper (ibook induced) to sleepy. The only thing I haven’t been today is regally pissed off. But I have been a little pissed off. It comes with the suicidal-ness

I’m not usually regally pissed or suicidal here, this is a happy place! I’m usually uber-hyper! (which makes me a say dude a lot. And people make fun of me. S’not nice) So expect lots of bouncy reviews! Because I bounce when I’m hyper *bouncebounce*

TOP TEN THINGS NOT TO DO IF YOU’RE A NEWSIES (OR ANY OTHER FANDOM) NEWBIE

10. Songfic = bad. Especially when it involves Celine Dion or Avril Lavigne

9. Make your fic one huge block of text. People can’t expect you to take the time to properly space your masterpiece

8. Characters with names longer than 7 syllables are fun!

7. Author notes in the middle of paragraphs. Do I even need to say this one?

6. Post you’re fic before checking over it. Only lower life forms make mistakes. Not you the wonderful author *coughsarcasticcough*

5. No one will mind if you completely change canon. Of course not... *rolls eyes*

4. I’se a n’wsie an’ I’se an’ I’se g’nna soak ya’s! Accents are good when you can actually understand what they’re saying

3. Spot is really a very emotional boy. He cries every night. As does every uber-macho character. Because people be in character

1. Write a fic with an amazingly beautiful and sassy female newsie who is a perfect version of the author and hates/loves the character you have a crush on but that character completely loves them, like the rest of New York does

Can I say oi? If you’re new, don’t do romance, work on your skill until you go there. Focus on characters and interesting plots. Build up your ability

PS: Ok, I didn't get my fic out in time. My bad. I'm hoping to finish it this weekend but unfortunently my house is currently being battered by Hurricane Isabel. I hope by the time the eye gets here it'll only be a tropical storm but we still will probably lose power for a while. I don't like huricanes
