My non-ff.net works: One free, others for sale in various online places, stuff I hope young people love, especially "Discovering Grace"; 2. About me;3. My fanfiction especially "Full House," so you can find things easier. I don't have time to cover it all. Please visit & read my friend's stories http://www.fanfiction.net/u/324354/rkoradio (he changed names but the link works or find "Sam Series" or "Just Like Family" in "Full House" & click his pen name/username). I've helped quite a bit with his, and he loves good, wholesome entertainment, just like I do. He's helped with a number of my stories, too. 1. Non-fan fiction writing first: Free - blogged book on spiritual leadership for young people, especially with no father figure physically or mentally present, great for all: takethespirituallead(dot)blogspot(dot)com Special: To whatever child I'd have adopted had things worked out: Tomychildinheaven(dot)blogspot(dot)com For sale: The following are at lulu(dot)com: "Discoverng Grace," and sequel "Discovering Grace 2: Young Leaders," Two youths find themselves the only Christians in a dysfunctional home, where they try to make a difference and learn how to love unconditionally, now with a sequel "Discovering Grace 2: Young Leaders"; "Vikings Sack San Marino," A bunch of crazy stuff happens because of one typo (Dan becomes San) - including a car arrested for bank robbery!; "If Baseball Integrated Early," about baseball being integrated from the start, each season with a few blurbs and a bit on U.S. history, too; "Brotherhood and Baseball," the American history analogue to the baseball alternate history; "Completed Game," alternate history of baseball with no strikes; "This Little Light," a sweet story about childhood, friendship, etc., with some fun baseball, too; taken from my own fond memories. One book at iuniverse(dot)com: "Never Let Me Go" is a fun story about high school, friendship, graduatin, and the difficulty of making life decisions; a great, wholesome romance with a warm, happy ending you'll love. All should be at Amazon, iTunes, etc., too. There will be more, eventually. 2. About me: I've always loved writing, and (aside from "Peanuts" and others when little) began fan fiction as a break from law practice. As I got less interested in law (except for wills & estates), I wrote more. I love good, wholesome stories w/unconditional love, in a variety of fandoms for shows I loved when stuff was for the whole family. I'm a dedicated Christian. I trusted Jesus Christ to forgive me for my sin, and love to use the gift of writing God gave me. I have a few handicaps, all since birth - 20/800 vision, hearing problems, a hint of cerebral palsy (I can walk well, just not quite as strong), slight Dandy-Walker Syndrome, and am just literal enough, really sensitive, and unable to read some social cues that I might hve a wee bit of Asperger's - that last could be from my low vision and hearing, too, & my outgoingness may point away from Aspergers. The Lord has used me to glorify Him and His love and mercy in many great ways I could not have without all that. I liked law at first, but I grew to dislike it. Too many people not caring about others, etc.. I like being nice - my clients were grateful, but in retrospect I'd have liked law better 50 years ago, when a person's word was good more often, and people were more willing to be nice and congenial. This world is too rough, too much "drama," and I wanted to help people, so went back & earned a Masters in Ministry, too. I'm currently an online missionary (volunteer) with Global Media Outreach. I did a lot of volunteer work before I felt called; now I do some wills but lots of volunteer work as an online missionary, etc.. Our sites include abundantlife(dot)godlife(dot)com, trueloveandgod(dot)com, and many others. I try to share God's love in my stories, too, while trying not to be too blatant about it. I believe we have considerable freedom within rules, but there is an absolute right and wrong that must be followed. Some fics I won't read, & some fandoms I don't look at. But, I love wholesome family entertainment. Only God can make the change a person needs to be born again, works can't do it, and I can't do it, either - though I wish I could. I can only communicate it as I do here by helping others see how to communicate it in their actions and their deeds. I'm not perfect at it, but I try. The Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ - God in flesh - for each of our sins, personally. A person can't just say a prayer and go out and do bad things, because when a person does trust Christ to forgive them, they do it by repenting and trusting Christ to make them new on the inside. They still have the same personality, but that desire to sin will be less, as they get closer to Jesus. 3. Now, my fan fiction - Full House stuff first, then some others: Obviously, I don't own any fandoms, only OCs, but it's great to visit univserses through the imagination, and fill in banks. We only see 1/2 hour out of 168 of peoples' lives each week in a sitcom (and not every week has something), with action going on over days or even weeks. Please visit the Full House Chronology, too big for this site, up on the "FUll House" board at sitcomsonline.com or by PM'ing me with an e-mail address. Full House, Season 9: Ep. 1. Some Things Will Never Change; Ep. 2. Same Place, New Faces; Ep. 3: Bugged; 200th Ep.: Best Things In Life Are Free; Thanksgiving: Thank You For Being a Friend; Christmas: We'll Always Have Christmas; Few weeks into new year: Don't Touch That Dial; February of season 9: Going for the Gold; Following week's episode: Passing the Torch; Spring, soon before finale: Hippos Are Man's Best Friend; Series Finale: Tanner All-Stars Full House stories with Pam: (off the top of my head, may be others) A More Perfect House Plan; A Story About Mommy; I Finally Did It, Sis; Making It Through; My Friend Norton; Pin A Rose On Your Nose; We'll Always Have Christmas; We'll Miss You, Pam Tanner (Others show realism of Danny missing her & consequences) Four Key Early Book Universe stories: Of course, I've done many BU ones, but: "They Grow Up So Fast," the pretend wedding of letters Q and U would be in TV and Book Universes, D.J.'s dedication in Book Universe only; "Somebody Who Needs You," BU version of when Jesse, Joey move in; Kid Sisters Plus Boys Equals Silliness, a direct AU of "Divorce Court," there's no argument, & older girls are in an ad; Little things Mean A Lot: Shows why Kimmy's not teased much in books & shows that she got her Sweet Sixteen, thanks to Steph remembering and a funny idea. Melina Series: What if they split the Olsen twins after season 5 on Full House as considered: 1. Fly Away Home; 2. Jesse the Godfather; 3. For Such a Time as This; 4. Matchmakers; 5. Chicago Reunion Other Full House AUs: Note: Books exist, so the Book Universe isn't a fan's AU, but it differs from TVU, with an office in the 4th bedroom and all I show. (RKORadio's Sam Series also from there, including BU version of finale "Just Like Family" with less bad accident) Penname changed but link at top works! Earlier stories of mine, unless they say they've been updated, don't have the Book Universe down perfect, though the four I mention above do. My "Full House" AU stories: Allie from books doesn't move away: Young Talent Night (Alternates of most episodes w/Gia, mostly AU of "We Got the Beat" Michelle's accident in the finale: An Angel...Or Mom; Anatomy of a Miracle; Just Like We Always Will (severe mental challenges) (last two seen as dreams, so it wasn't really that bad); "The Way We Were" is actually an expanded real finale, with 98% new. Jesse and Becky elope: The House is Still Full Michelle learns earlier of Jesse moving out after his wedding: Too Much Change Joey takes a job in "But Seriously, Folks": Try, Try Again, Nice and Easy Does It Michelle buys sweets & ice cream, not a donkey: "I Scream for Ice Cream" (BU), some mention in "Mildew" D.J. remembers Kimmy's birthday earlier than in "Birthday Blues": "Little Things Mean a Lot" (BU) Danny joins Jesse's band: Mildew (AU of "On the Road Again," reference to other episodes) Michelle plays jokes, doesn't run away(even in TVU she was in Joey's "Comedy College"): The Joker's Wild Michelle doesn't have a classmate over willing to sneak out in "Bachelor of the Month: Michelle's Night Out There are others I'm not recalling . RKORadio, in addition to the excellent Sam Series, has a few good AUs (again, see link at top since he changed his name or go to "Just Like Family" & click his username). Stories showing realistic way events in Full House episodes likely happened (and how the Chronology has it): Pushing the Limits (Michelle's 5th birthday party occurs, rest go to hospital later); Big Shoes to Fill (Joey doesn't just make Michelle move her desk into the hall because a PA is there to help, also Mildew a little); Passing the Torch (Michelle never really wanted to go to that type of concert, Joey had ideas on where to take her right away); Wishing You Were Here ("The Devil Made Me Do It," though only a wording problem confused me, the more I think about it). We Are Family, (It was a dream, inside you'll see why and what prompted it). Also, though not part of the Chronology, How To Entertain Yourself in an Airport, Girls don't get on plane or competent count-taking before takeoff. Like the others, it's safe to say this is really waht happened. Showing realism in general: D.J.'s Fourth of July Thanksgiving, Who's In Charge Here, Pushing the Limits, Still A Great Father, Playing With Fire, and others show how - according to several in the child development field - D.J. would be the main authority figure in Michelle's life, and fit in with episodes in realistic way. Also, Missing Her - Danny has to redo his will - could have been a great first season ep.; and it'd be Book canon as well. The Way We Were, start & end of Fun-filled Memories, show realistic accident in TV finale with gradual recover (the former is 98% new material); as mentioned, Just Like Family is the BU accident, much less serious, in my friend's stories. Putting it All Together and Wind Beneath My Wings show MIchele's recovery and later jumping contests gNow, for "Full House" and other stories: Stories which explain things that are odd - FH, etc: I like to write to explain things, and do a fair amount in a lot of stories, but here are just a few: I Finally Did It, Sis: Everyone wanted to know about Jesse saying he graduated, then the truth comes out. Hint, note the italics. :-) Very in character, flashbacks with Pam, too. Cousin Aunt Stephanie: A few books actually call Nicky and Alex Stephanie's nephews. Huh? A silly misunderstanding shows how something - like a nickname - just becomes a "family tradition" that we don't see the beginning of. The Legend of the Telegram: How did Doc's letter get from 1885 to Marty in 1955 in "Back to the Future II"? The Noodles and Subsequent Madness: Calvin & Hobbes' Noodle Incident (in song form) The Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly: The True Story: With a doctor involved, the song's situation would be sillier Of Goldbricks and Blockheads: Brick steps that appear in one episode and no others in "Hogan's Heroes" Where Are They Now/Where They Ended Up: (I'm forgetting a few here, too) Peanuts: "It's the Senior Prom, Charlie Brown", "You're A Friend, Charlie Brown" Full House: Too many to name, in addition to my 9th season. "Going Out On Top" is a good summary of a few BU events that are different. Cosby Show: My 2 "Full House" crossovers, "Make Up, San Francisco," and "I Want To Be A Part of It" Huckleberry Finn: "The Further Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" Hogan's Heroes"The Green Green Grass of Home" (Series finale), "It Was Worth It All" (Jackie Robinson's first game), "Forgiveness" (crossover with "Touched By An Angel"; also, an alternate ending in "Oskar's Box" Battlestar Galactica (original): "We've Come This Far By Faith" (Crossover with "Touched By An Angel," which let me logically use an idea I'd had after the original ended) Cheers: "Choices", "There Are Winners, Too" (Red Sox win in 2004) Welcome Back, Kotter: 3 crossovers, "A Sweathog Night in Georgia" (with Dukes of Hazzard), "A Common Thread" ("Familyi Affair") and "A Birth Story That's Sweathog Wild" ("The Cosby Show") "Family Affair": 2 crossovers show in their unvierse, Buffy overcomes problems her character may have had with grieving - "The Person Inside" (with "Barney Miller") and "A Common Thread" ("Welcome Back, Kotter"); also an AU crossover with "Full House," which also has a crossover with the 2002 version Happy Days: "Happy Days 1970 Whatever Happened to Chuck Cunningham (Also explains the character's disappearance.) (Note: See RKORadio's "Sometimes They Grow Up Way Too Fast" for another interesting explanation.) The "Okay, we know you're a huge baseball fan, list some stories with people playing baseball" list: A few "Peanuts" stories, including "What A Weird Series, Charlie Brown" (Based on some of my first stories ever as a child); "Choices"(Cheers' Sam Malone has a chance to make his career right in one game, but it has consequences); It Was Worth it All (Jackie Robinsons' first big league game); "The Hazzard Sparkplugs" (Boss Hogg owns a baseball team); Tanner Baseball (What if the baseball strike hadn't happened - as it may not have on FH - Abbott and Costello would enjoy it); Quite A Catch (Stephanie pitches for her Middle School team in the playoffs); Tanner All-Stars (The 9th season finalle, with Steph's pitching as part of it); Flight of the Knuckleball ("Full House" - Cousin Steve pitching, includes how the Cubs win the World Series in the "Full House" universe; description of Game 7 of the 2003 NLCS.) I might do a few others but have mostly stopped having time for any fan fiction with all my other activities. The Chronology has set everything for "Full House," and my other favorites were already established as imaginary friends :-) Seriously, this was a great hobby & whether or not I do any more, thanks to all for reading, enjoy my stories, and God Bless. |
