While there are two of us listed as authors, only Wraith(Akira Li) actually writes the stories. Shockwave is listed because of his invaluable contributions to the series in it's inception. The Matthias Chronicals Story Arc (yes it does have a defined beginning and end)actually originated 4-5 years ago (whenever Gen-X debuted)as a Role Playing Game played by Wraith and Shockwave. It was originally supposed to last maybe a month at most (like our other RPGs) it actually lasted a good 2-3 years! Over the course of the Arc, we will take SEVERAL artistic liberties (such as defining what happens to Externals when they "die") and several characterizations may seem slightly off or just plan wrong by current Gen-X story lines (especially that whole Monet/Penance mess) just remember that not only does the Matthias Chronicles ignore the entire Age Of Apocalypse storyline (as we mention at the beginning of every story) but the stories originated around the time of Gen-X #4 or thereabouts so we stopped the storyines and characterizations of the Marvel characters around that time.
A few more notes about the series, they are written in serial form, so they may seem rather short at first(6-8 pages on average), but they will almost always end with a cliffhanger/hook that will lead to the next story. They are all tenatively rated PG-13. Some will have drug use (nothing too hard, just a little marijuana use every once in a while), non-graphic sexual situations( If you want the "hard" stuff go someplace else), graphic fight sequences, and profanity. Smoe will have more then others, some will have none. We both hope you enjoy the stories.
