UPDATE: 4/30/16

After 12 years, the final chapter of Qye has finally be posted.

I expect much rage. Because after all these years, I have yet to break my cliffhanger habit. I hope people have been reading these notes and I've been preparing them for Carus. I wanted to have that first chapter up simultaneously with Qye - and I may yet post it later tonight - but for now, Qye, the story that people have spent so long with, is finally done.

I just want to say thank you. I hope my story - despite doing what many reviews have dreaded - has provided some enjoyment to a day. I hope you all know how grateful I am for every read, review, follow and like. You are all wonderful people and I hope you know this. I hope to continue to bring enjoyment for you. I understand if some may take a step away but found something in the story that will give you a smile.

UPDATE: 4/28/16

What was suppose to be the final chapter turned out to be having so much content that I've ended up splitting it. And since everyone was suppose to get this months ago, before RL commitments continued to be a barrier, here's the first part with the second and final chapter of Qye to be posted on Saturday.

And the first chapter of Carus, the final story in the trilogy with an estimated 40 chapters from the completed outline I have and end date before the end of this year, on Sunday.

As much as I have loved having this story for literally years in my life, its time to bring it to a close so that other stories may live. And, as always, I am so grateful and astonished at all of you, old and new, who have given time and love to this story and characters. I love you and hope you are all doing well.

UPDATE: 1/24/16

I AM NOT DEAD OR HAVE DISAPPEARED. *waves* Hi guys, no no, I am not gone, I have the last chapter of Qye and the first chapter of Carus (the final installment of the trilogy) almost done. I had emergency in RL work for the past couple of weeks and have been recovering this weekend. I know its not my fingers broken and unable to type but my RL livelihood depended on it. I hope to have the chapters posted by Weds, if not by this weekend. I apologize for the delay but just want to make sure people know. I have a harder to respond to reviews here so if you want an answer, feel free to drop a line over at my AO3 account.

Again, thank you all for staying with me! I'll see you later this week. I love you all and hope all your weeks have been muchly pleasant.

Update: 12/19/15

After all so long, Qye has officially hit an important plot point. For all those who have waited these many, many years, thank you and I hope you enjoy what I have up ahead. My regular posting times will remain Sat/Sun and my inbox is always open (although I have an easier time replying to comments at AO3.

For all of you who have left reviews - I smile every time I read someone exclaiming on my return - thank you so much. It keeps me going and I love you all very much.

Just to give you some notice, Qye will be ending at Chapter 30. But Carus, the last story in this trilogy, at an expected 40 chapters, is coming soon...

UPDATE: 11/22/15

Hey all, long time no see.

Yes, I am still alive. Yes, I've read each and every one of the reviews and PMs and follows and favorites that you've spent through the years of waiting for the next chapter. Sometimes those have helped me get through a day when nothing else could. I always told myself I'd come back to writing once my life settled but if there's anything I learned these years, life is never going to be settled forever and waiting helps no one. Everyone who has shown me support over the years deserves the best I can.

So here's me, writing. I am also publishing over at AO3 under penname opacre. I actually like the format over there a little better but you guys were here first, waiting for so long, so you get first dibs. Right now, I'm going to be posting about every three days (the next post will be either Thurs/Fri) but most likely settle for posting once a week on the weekends.

I really do love you all and every day, each one of you is in my thoughts, that you're having lots of luck and if not, please at least know that someone out there is loving and smiling for you. I'll see you all real soon.
