I am, first and foremost, a denizen and lover of J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. Tolkien is the light which I have sworn to follow. Sam Gamgee and Galadriel are my guides on my mythic quest for the fantastic, and to life, and have the added bonus of being my favorite characters.
Beyond that, well, perhaps alongside of that, I'm a lover of Narnia, a student of Arthurian mythology, a Harry Potterite, and a rabid Sirius Black lover!
I have always written fanfiction, although for a long time I thought I was the only one doing it. Every time I read a book or saw a movie, I borrowed the characters and settings for countless tales of my own. My joy when I found ff.n and realized that there were hosts of other people like me out there was boundless.
As a note, although I don't often write slash, I am and always have been fascinated by the healing power of a loving touch, be it from your romantic interest, your parent, or a close friend. Thus, much of my writing could be interpreted as being slashy. Some is blatantly so. Read it the way you like it!
