![]() Author has written 13 stories for Digimon, Pokémon, Ranma, Misc. Anime/Manga, Cowboy Bebop, Anime X-overs, and Code Lyoko. February 8, 2008 Name: Tiki Rocket. It's how my friends know me, it's how my boyfriends have known me, even my own mother calls me Tiki. Important detail to note: The vast majority of the stories on this profile are quite old. (Please notice the dates.) It's kind of embarrassing for me, personally, to read over them -- but I don't want to delete them, either, because that's still a part of my writing history. I deleted a few older fics once upon a time and to this day wish I'd at least saved backups. Yes, they were atrocious; they were also hilarious, and a great way to measure how much my writing has improved. So if you do happen to read some of the older stuff, please be forgiving! I have since grown in writing experience. Over the last few years, I defected from FFN for some more 'adult' sites and became active in the Harry Potter fandom. I also got into National Novel Writing Month, and took that on thrice (Tiki 2, November 1). Then, in August, Lea and I got to talking about "Code Lyoko" and her fic, "Can You Keep A Secret". She introduced me to a Lyoko fansite that features "Lyoko On Demand": all the episodes of "Code Lyoko", for people like me who don't watch television. (When last I checked, LoD was down with no signs of going back up. ;_; Sad.) In other words, she was being an enabler, and "Code Lyoko" is the shiny, pretty, mind-altering substance she was enabling me with. So I've returned to FFN with non-sexually graphic fanfiction for the entertainment of those who prefer their fanfiction without smut, along with a couple OCs whose codependency issues are a little worrying even to me. There are probably better Lyoko fics out there, but I like what I'm writing and I like that I don't have to stress out about it. Recent news: () Currently dabbling in the Code Lyoko fandom; if that's how you found me, then hi! If you read any of my other (apparently) dead storylines and wish I would revive one, feel free to say as much. |
