I write to pass the time, prolifically and endlessly it seems at times.

I'm trying to learn how to write, to craft a story, characters, plots and subtext. Sometimes I feel as if I am, and others, not so much. I love feedback and comments, although I am against using them as some bar to reach to release another chapter and such. I write for myself, and am usually satisfied enough with the process to find motivation to continue. However, I am frequently concerned that my ideas are unoriginal, lacking, or just generally off the mark. In short, I think I am improving, but its odd when there is no firm articulated metric to measure oneself against.

Back to writing, there is more time to pass.
