Author has written 4 stories for Final Fantasy VII, House, M.D., and Dragonriders of Pern series. "Right now I can't read too good, so don't send me no more letters, no." - Bob Dylan Everybody says that they've wanted to be a writer ever since tey were young, so that won't be anything you haven't heard before. Unfortunately, it's also true. I can't make you any promises that I'm a good writer, but I've certainly taken pains to write every kind of fiction that I've been able to think of over the last ten years. Fanfiction is my guilty pleasure, and I love it. I do it to relax, and to practice writing techniques. I'm in the middle of a long exam period at the moment, so the fact that I'm updating every thirty seconds proves just how stressed out I am. I particularly love writing Anne McCaffrey, Final Fantasy, and Sherlock Holmes fanfiction. A weird arrangement, I know, but so it goes. I'm also a playwright. I'm majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, and I'm focusing on dramatic literature. I only hope that will help me to gain the success in that field that I so dearly crave. About a year and a half ago, I got myself into a stupid car accident that did two things to m y life: 1) It lost me partial use of my eyes. 2) It gave me a slew of new material to use in my plays. While I'm working on writing the play that will explain all of the things that I feel I need to explain about the past two years (and I've been working on it for about two years, too) I'll keep writing my fanfiction and my other original stuff. I've been told that writing's an impossible field, and not to get my hopes up for a moment. But I suppose what matters at this moment is what YOU think, isn't it? - H. S. Shore |
