2002 was my final year a high school and I didn't have a lot of time to write (although I did admittedly started up another story with my fanfic beta and buddy Bride of Legolas, which you can check out here http://www.fanfiction.net/~iedhellenmuinthil)- though I did spend many long train rides thinking about where I wanted to go with my stories. And after re-reading what I'd written last year, I realised that my pieces needed some SERIOUS editing...the only problem was, I didn't really know how to go about that (not to mention my mother almost banned my sister and I from this site because of what she calls "over-visiting"...ie, we spent too much time reading and not enough time studying). I did attempt to start editing "Daughters of Another Land", but again, with the study and family commitments, I was having a hard time trying to find time to read fanfic let alone write it! (as many of the regular reviewers of "Battle's Cry" will tell you).

Now, 2 years later, I'm in university and taking a subject entitled "Creative Writing". I'm learning a lot- which is why I have begun re-drafting "Daughters of Another Land" (DOAL) yet AGAIN. I'm hoping to fill a lot of gaps which the current version still has (the gaps are blinding...I must thank the many people who saw past those and encouraged me to continue with the plot despite my poor writing quality). Incidentally, I'm leaving the current version up until I can chance ALL 6 chapters to the redrafted final chapters (hence, you will never be left without enough chapters to match what I had originally written).

Anyhow, this is becoming an essay length apology/explanation...must end it here.
