Hey, it's been a while.

First, I want to thank everyone who has commented or faved or alerted me during my long absence. I'm deeply flattered and happy that you all enjoyed my work, no matter how old it is.

Second, is about the status of my writing. Unfortunately, I do not have an update for Rock in the River at this time to reward your patience. Honestly, I have not done any fic writing for the last couple of years, and several times I almost dropped the story and out of writing entirely. However, your comments have helped me hold on a little longer, such that I do not wish to betray your patience.

I cannot guarantee an update soon. In fact, it almost definite to be another long length of time before I surface again. This is mainly because having looked back at my previous writing, there are many things I am dissatisfied with, even ashamed of. Therefore I will be revising RitR on and off in my spare time. I will also be trying to finish it before posting, so that when it does come out, you will not have to wait years again in between chapters.

Again, I cannot say when this will happen. It may be another couple of years, especially since I am currently in a vital stage of real life (ie. vet school applications) which take presidency. If you are still interested in the story by then, then words cannot express my gratitude. If you happen to wander away and curse my existence as an inconsistent author, I also understand.

As for all other stories that were in progress, they will all be dropped, as I sadly no longer have the time nor interest in those fandoms.
