Important Updates: (Friday, April 15, 2005)
I've decided to stop writing Bitter Games altogether. It sucked. Idea sucked. _; I was silly. Anyways... I'll write fanfiction again someday... But I don't know how much of it will be on Fanfiction.net simply because I no longer like this place. It's filled with "original" characters (coughMary-Suescough) and even I, myself, am guilty of creating those tragic little beasts.

My stories were no good simply because I tried to make the characters perfect without realizing that I was changing their personalities to fit my taste. That is not what you do in fanfiction, sadly. So I won't write a fanfic unless I am sure that the character has maintained its -true- personality and that even my "original" characters don't interfere with the reader's enjoyment of the story.

I know from experience that reading a story only to find out that your favorite character has been severely damaged or that the story is really about a Mary-Sue is not very enjoyable AT ALL.

So think of all the kittens out there and stop writing those God-awful "perfect" characters of yours. Yes, every time you write a Mary-Sue or butcher a canon character, an angel comes and kills a kitty. MONSTER. You're killing KITTIES. What next? Puppy-kicking? For SHAME. Stop writing Mary-Sues. Just stop. It hurts me, darlings. It really does.
