Sup. I'm Luna, aka The Artist Formerly Known As Usa(gi). I've had a few other pen names here at FF.Net, most notably PikaChan, flyingpinkbunny, The Great Baka Usagi, and Bunny on the Moon. (Are you sensing a pattern here?)

I'm a 30-year-old female from Texas, and I've been writing for as long as I can remember. When I was five I would write stories about Rainbow Brite meeting characters like Chocolate Brown and Fluffy Cloud White. Age ten brought an attempted novelization of EarthBound and terrible script-format Ranma 1/2 fic. Fifteen saw my first postings on the internet of the worst Mary Sues to ever invade the Digimon fandom. Twenty had me all over gay Egyptian kids and woobie white-haired boys. Twenty-five... saw a massive dry spell. And thirty is currently crying over - wait for it - gay demigods and woobie black-haired boys! Wow!! Anyway I'm very, very slowly attempting to get back up on Ye Olde Writing Horse. I am so out of practice it's not even funny.

I do crosspost all of my writing to my AO3 account, sometimes with extras I'm unable to include on this site!

I love anime/manga, video games, webcomics, and the internet in general. My current fandom loves are Pokémon, Homestuck (mostly fantrolls), Mother/Earthbound, Diabolik Lovers, and Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus. Other things I like: Simoun, Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, Fruits Basket, Final Fantasy X, Weiss Kreuz, Ouran High School Host Club, Code Geass, The Slayers, Ranma 1/2, Gravitation, Fushigi Yuugi, Yami no Matsuei, Kingdom Hearts.

Top 3 fictional characters: Nico di Angelo, Subaru Sakamaki, N Harmonia. They are my precious trash children and I love them.

Here is where I list my ships, because that's pretty much the only thing people come to these profiles to see. Italics are particular favorites:

Homestuck: Davekat is pretty okay I guess. I'm not really invested in shipping in this fandom anymore outside of fantrolls.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Malik/Ryou, Mahaad/Isis, Seto/Isis, Jounouchi/Anzu
Digimon: Joe/Mimi, Izzy/Mimi, Tai/Sora (And as shameful as it is to admit, part of me still ships Matt with my old self-insert. You never get over your first anime crush...)

I ship in other fandoms, but these are my primary ones. If I took the time to list out every ship from every series I've been into, we'd be here all day (though my tumblr does have a more extended list). I do enjoy hetero, slash, and femslash pairs. For me, it's how the characters mesh as opposed to what naughty bits they're packing. I'd take the same ships even if they were genderswapped, if that says anything.

(steps up on soapbox) On a related note, I absolutely loathe ship shaming - if people like or don't like a ship, then why question it? It's their opinion and not yours. I have plenty of pairings I dislike, even outright hate, but I'm not going to go off flaming people over it. I'll tell you what I will do, I'll just scroll right past it, simple as that. Because when it comes down to it, all it is is a fictional relationship between fictional characters, so it's not something to get your undies in a wad over.

current projects

Sol Invictus (Heroes of Olympus; post-BoO; eventual Solangelo) With Apollo missing in action, the Sun Chariot cannot be pulled across the sky; thus, the world is plunged into an eternal state of nighttime. His son, Will Solace, takes it upon himself to awaken Helios - the original solar god - and bring light back to the world. But how do you revive a god who has long since faded away? Chapter 18 of 20 in progress.

if i had my way we'd never close our eyes (Heroes of Olympus; mortal AU, Solangelo main) "This is exactly how I wanted to spend my Friday night: getting dragged to a gay dance club by two women - one of which is my sister and the other who might as well be - both of whom are in committed relationships, and both of whom are set on scoring me some ass 'cause I haven't gotten laid since before my freshman year. Right. Sounds like a blast." Chapter 3 of 5 in progress.

future projects

Seeds For Our Garden; working title. (Heroes of Olympus; Solangelo main) The more Nico and Will see their friends starting families together, the more overwhelming their desire for a child of their own becomes. But, naturally, like everything else in the life of a demigod, there are many hurdles to overcome to get to that point. Planning in progress.

The Price of Determination; working title. (Digimon; alternate ending to DA01) After the defeat of Apocalymon and the Dark Masters, the Chosen Children find themselves unable to return home - something's blocking the Digital Gate... A classic "Ninth Child" story, revisited after over ten years. Planning in progress.

The Path of Light (EarthBound) "When the Chosen Boy reaches the point, he will find the light. The passing of time will shatter the nightmare rock and reveal the path of light..." A not-so-standard novelization of EarthBound. Planning in progress.
