I challenged you LotR authors to write a girl-drops-in-Middle-earth story that is realistic, where Westron isn't English, she doesn't meet friendly people and she is neither special, important or gifted and doesn't necessarily live very long or stay in Middle-earth for any length of time.

This plot bunny has come to mind: girl goes to Middle-earth via a ship wreck...ends up in the ocean far, far off the southern coast of Middle-earth and is "rescued" by the Corsairs of Umbar.

~cackles madly and shuffles off~

P.S. Has anyone noticed that girls who fall into Middle-earth rarely, if ever, arrive in inclement weather? I have this great vision of a girl popping up in the middle of a snow storm.

Lord of the Coffee Java of the Ainur by Lothithil reviews
A Parody of Professor T's magnificent books, written by someone who drinks entirely too much coffee. No potty humour or smut, just lots of cream and sugar and not a little amount of silliness.
