I've created a Yahoo group for both my work and associated files (see the homepage link). Some of it is from the dark side of fiction. Adults only, please.

I've also finally gotten .htm files of the various Magical Bat stories posted to the Yahoo group file sections.

This is a separate, but linked site to my fictionpress account: http://www.fictionpress.com/~karanne Those stories starting with Magical Bat III are split off there - the activities of the protagonist Miss Wayne (daughter of Bruce and Selina Wayne) and her schooling at Hogwarts are here, the stories not dealing with Miss Wayne are there. I suggest you start with the Cradle_intro file, that file will give you a capsule summary of this universe. The next file, Dec.2001, is the start to normal storytelling.

This is really irritating.

I cannot upload a file in .doc, .docx, .htm, or .html. I can upload a SINGLE BYTE .txt file ONLY if it is in UTF-8 format, but not ANSI, which means my English text is transliterated into Chinese. I can only do that using a Microsoft OS (Win2k) and Internet Explorer. I can't even do that with either Mac or Linux, I don't get that far on the fictionpress site, and tech support has ignored my emails. The site's owner (Xing Li) lives in LA and hasn't been seen alive since 2004, and the domain is registered through GoDaddy and hosted on servers in Germany.

If anyone has the email to an actual live human that can help, it would be appreciated. Otherwise, I'll keep updating the Yahoo group (link above) and see what I can do.

PS: Well, I can cut'n'paste a page at a time from my document (614kb) into my test text file. However, the maximum it will let me save is 201kb. For those who don't upload, the maximum file size is allegedly 9 mb. (2 percent of the alleged maximum or 35,000 words).
