Oxford defines an oubliette as a 'secret dungeon with entrance only by a trapdoor.' It comes from the word oublier, French for 'to forget'. Oubliette was once forgotten. She's over it now, though.

Although she has an account here, Oubliette Ganryú writes most of her fiction under the pen name of Velkyn.
