I usually write for amusement or to relieve stress. So if anything seems overly angsty, it can probably be attributed to my having a really bad day. But I love angst so I never take it out when this happens. Most of my writing is a combination of fantasy elements (demons, magic, sword fights, shape-shifters) and real-life scenarios (schools, rock bands, relationships, mental problems.) I also do shonen ai but with looong development, which can be a bit nerve-racking. I'm a major fan of shonen ai/yaoi. My fave couples are from X (S/S, F/K, A/S), CCS (Li/Eriol, Toya/Yuki), TB (S/S), GW (1x2,3x4), YnM (Muraki/Tsuzuki, Tsu/Hisoka, Tatsumi/Tsu), Gravi (Guess?), and sadly Digimon (Rabid daiken/taito fan.). Other warning. I write BIG chapters, usually 19-21 pgs at LEAST. Just thought you'd like to know in advance. Meet the Muses that Reside Inside Nayami’s Whacked-Out Head Muse of Violence/Fighting -- Sei-chan: Pretty much your average Sakurazuka Seishirou only minus the being dead. Muse of Fluff -- Shiki-Mokona: A Mokona from Magic Knight Rayearth, who not only possesses all the usual powers but also has the honor of perching on Sei-chan’s shoulder after he accidentally ate Sei-chan’s shiki-eagle. Whoops. Anyway, this idea is spawned from the fact that both Seishirou and Mokona are known as Guardians of the Sakura Tree. Muse of Angst -- Psychic Inuki-chan: Puppy version of Inuki with the ability to tell any X character who is the perfect person for them and how they will meet their ghastly end. Muse of Comedy -- Yuuto-neko: Kitty version of Kigai Yuuto known for his more playful personality and his flirtatious relationship with Sora-neko as well as the usual (Karen, Kanoe, Satsuki).
