In deepest, coldest, November, a Writer has The Block.

... well, it is not so much a block, more like I've-got-a-job-and-a-family-and-a-life-and-I-commute-four-and-a-half-hours-a-day block. takes a deep breath. I know what you are thinking. Why doesn't the Writer write on the train? The thing is the Call of the Suduku is still strong and there are so many free newspapers I get 9 to complete in one day! :D

Apart from that; I do have something that I am penning, but I have read so much fanfic that I'm no longer sure which is JKR fact and what is wishful thinking. So hence I am reading the books again.

(apart from the middle of GOF, naturally - don't look so shocked, I know you do too)

At least I am not rambling on like last time. What was I thinking?!

I didn't know whether or not to put anything up about myself here. I mean, is anyone truly interested? Maybe all you want to know could fit on a postcard. I dunno. It just seems like people seem to like doing that now. So, I guess the first thing about me is that I like to ramble.

I also like to not do what I should do. And do what I shouldn't do ;-)

(you might think that those two sentences say the same thing, but I think differently)

I also really really like brackets. And author's notes. And cookies... especially the ones with fruits like raspberries and strawberries, and I have a real desire to marry caffeine. If I dare say my age... I'm 24. It'll be interesting to find out if anyone believes I act my age. I think I act older than my age but think younger. I appear normal and quiet to most people but to a select few I am very very scary (Believe me; I have a whip and I'm not afraid to use it)!

Now, if I haven't scared you enough, my fics are below this rambles. I haven't written much on the daring side (once I'm away from uni, I will as I won't feel guilty all the time) but I have a few ideas. I love slash and femslash, a bit too much really. Scrap that, last bit - cannot love it enough... (hehe) I won't tell people if I am male or female... maybe you have it all figured out from the name, but those that get the reference of the name will understand it was the character that I was empathising (grrr!! Empathising doesn't have a "z" in it?! For goodness sake, I'm English!!) with and I am the sort of person that has gender rather ... neutralised.

(for fing bs!! Neutralised does not have a "z" either! Is there any way to get an English version of spell check on this site?)

I haven't been around for a while, have I? I have been doing a module on creative writing and as creative writing has to be from your own head and not borrowing characters (mainly from the head of JKR lol) I have forgotten about the world of fanfic - and I never thought that day would happen...

So, I've decided to post up some of the poems / short stories that I wrote. They are slightly strange. But then, I am a slightly strange person. Some I have posted onto fictionpress and there will be one on adultfanfiction.net (or Nifty, depending) once I get the chance to go over it again.

Have read HP&DH in five hours - I am happy. Still not sure about a particular pairing, (hehe - as can be seen with my favourite stories list) but it was going to happen. Alas!

I am back in England! Yay! I have posted a really old fic of mine, written in 2001, I seem to remember, I could be wrong, based upon The Chronicles of Obernewtyn written by Isobelle Carmody. I never knew that a folder existed for Obernewtyn here... my powers of observation are second to none! ... Right, I'm off to read my copy of the new Artimus Fowl novel. Yay!

No one has reviewed my Black Books story ... if anyone is reading this even if you do not know what on earth Black Books is - please review, tell me if it is awful... I need to know! (And if you do not know about Black Books, shame on you! British/Irish comedy needs to be recogised more!)

Happy Financial Year 2006! Kiss Kiss!

Have decided to try my hand at Black Books fanfiction (You have to adore Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran!) as becoming increasingly annoyed with HP - I like to be up-to-date with the plot, i.e., I hate it when people write "I have decided that by some very unexplained reason that Sirius Black etc are still alive! Muh-ha-ha-ha!" ... Please do not take offense if that is your favourite type of fic to read/write but what has happened timeline-wise has happened. You may understand this by reading my favourite stories linked here; they seem to have a theme. :Cough:

Never mind; I'm off to revise Thermodynamics! Woooooooo hoooooooo!

PS - Have added by first non-HP fanfic onto my favourite storys link - Burglary. Read it. It's fantastic!
