Author has written 2 stories for Final Fantasy VII.
Welcome to my biography. (Don't worry, it won't be anything too indecent.)
"That alligator on your shirt's cold-blooded anyway."--Tide ad. I thought it was nifty.
Let's see. I'm 5'6'', 110 pounds with a rock strapped to my chest, 18, male, and made of indigenous stock (U.S.) with a couple of surly celtic immigrants mixed in. "Cat" is "We-Sa" (Way-sah) in Tsalagi, in case any of you had the curiosity in you. Yes, I sort of favor one side of my heritage over the other, and get downright preachy at times...but this isn't a pulpit, luckily for you.
...Other than that, I'm a college student in vain pursuit of a real place in life. This might not be where to obtain it, but it keeps me sane, for the time being.
By the way, I scored very highly in math, the second time around. (It just had to be said.)
What to expect from my humus: what to expect from anyone else's humus? Or would we want hummus? (Hmm...hunger setting in.)
It is laden with cloudy meaning, that it is. It's also mordantly convolving game universes. The occasional parody WILL be posted...that I can assure...Eventually, all may come and see my presumptive annotations of FF7. (There actually was a project known as the "Genova Project", for instance.)
Books to recommend:
Focault's Pendulum, by Umberto Eco
Beowulf, trans. by Seamus Heaney (don't settle for less!!!!)
Anything by the peripatetic humorist Mr. Pratchett...(he lives off the coast of France, if you were wondering. Rincewind is me. I swear.)
Hard Times, by Charles Dickens

What should be:
The constabulary song (what was it called?) from the Pirates of Penzance to the Ankh Morpork city police.
A story that discredits myself (The throng of fanfiction crafters aren't nearly as wicked as I had hoped. Moue of disappointment. I have boiled tar for nothing! Mmm. Bright taste, that tar...it'd go nicely with shrimp salad...)
An official FFVVFFAA (Final Fantasy's Vincent Valentine's Fan Fiction Authors Anonymus)
A fanfic called "Futile Finalization" with obvious parallels to the neverending franchise (if someone out there doesn't gratify, I will be forced to write something far less propitious.)
A couple more reviews on my lousy pieces (piece. One can dream, can't he?)
...Nothing much, when you get right down to it.
(Little child waddles up, thumb in mouth. "Did God make you such an unlovable bastard?" Ah. Innocence. I pat her head in a fatherly fashion. "Yes, yes he did.")
Oh, and a real name, in dragon speak
...and a pony

Finally, likes:
La Marchesa D'Antin, by J. Marc Nattier (portrait)
Star Trek
C.S. Lewis
Bad poetry
Genetic algorithms
D&D
Outstanding public libraries (which are few and far between)
Final Fantasy Seven
Annotations
Writing
Good Omens (Though I betray the book a little by begging for the movie.)
We-Sa
David Quammen
Anything that isn't Pushkin
Etymological Dictionaries
Stuffed animals of any variety
Myst
Coldmoon (a character from "I am a Cat")
Record of Lodoss War (Asheram mainly, as he wants to earn titles to Lodoss with a fine batch of Neece's cookies.)
National Geographic Photography books
Lemon wafer bars
ether kits
Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi (cheese so cured it's actually fun)
Wolves in the Walls
MST3K
Audobon mineral guides
Drosera
W.B. Yeats
C.W. Ceram
E.A. Poe ("Te wing!...vat I pe do mit te wing? Mein Gott! do you take me vor a shicken?")
Maniacal laughter (especially with guttural sounds infused, such as "kyek" and "ha".)
Vincent Valentine (oh, couldn't he just be amerindian, and short, with glasses and homely lank hair? *A/S grinning sickly as rabid fangirls foregather around him, waving assorted blades and high-tech armaments.* ...Damn you Vincent, and your use of Salon Selectives!!!!)
Drow (but not R.A. Salvatore's!!!!!! They're so...wimpy and confused.)
Earthsea (humble and natural people of eye-watering niftiness. Irioth, Irian, Medra...the Tales from Earthsea is remarkably told. And no one can explain a dragon, really. Irian!!!! Gah! How could you just let her slip through your fingers? Foolish Karg!!!!!)
...Did I mention Vincent? (Tortured, beautiful, damned to eternity...has a personality like a wet brick, but in that complex, slightly mad way. Yoshitaka, you are brilliant...)
Another man's wife...my mother (I suppose this makes me non-Tsalagi, what with the culture being matrilineal and my mother being white, but Ame-dohi's mum's white, and she looks a bit more than a wee Irish, too.)
Yuffie Kisaragi, Barret Wallace, Red (cringes. Minus cookie for whoever thought that would go over well. He even wears BATTLE FEATHERS (gasps. cringes. writhes a little.) Hojo and Reno also chart very highly. (Some might not see it, but Reno looks like Bono. Really, he does. Compare them sometime.)

Things that are disliked by Antimony Sulfide:
potters (just kidding)
idiots (including myself)
dead giveaways in plots
directionless plots
graveyards (on the subject of plots)
Maryland
Kentucky
Nebraska
Alabama
Georgia (grr...)
Nauseatingly supercilious classmates
Nauseatingly varsity league classmates
Certain fangirls (the kind that immediately presume that you're going to take offense to their guy/guy stories, when you really couldn't care less, so long as it's written well. Really, can we do without all of the obsessive rants about the so-called "close-minded" fellows out there who are unwilling to see the beauty of love in anything aside from a heterosexual dimension? In those rare cases where people are affluent enough to have a keyboard, but too brainless to know how to avoid what they're uncomfortable with reading, I side with the fangirls, but really, the aggression decidedly makes anyone ambivalent. I'm all for whatever people see fit, but I tend to avoid yaoi on the grounds that it has SEX in it. (I'm all for shounen-ai though, given the right pair. Gah! You fangirls and your obscene use of CHILDREN in ADULT SITUATIONS!!!!!!!)
...pretty much everything else I can embrace. Hell, my personal novel (which will never be printed, I'm certain of it) has nary a straight arrow (the main character, a male, is in love with the villain, a male. And I write Japanese-style fox and dragon stories that involve men in the traditional warrior-warrior romance scheme.) Anyway, such portrayals are older than vedic mythology. I wouldn't say, girls, that you're doing anything particularly groundbreaking. Even Neil Gaiman (whom I adore...drools over Sam, Requel, Mr. Nancy, Shadow...so...marvelous...cries due to utter lack of talent.) has it in his Murder Mysteries (a strange but lovingly rendered tale of a stupid young man listening to the story of Requel, who has fallen, in Gaiman's world.)
Please, fangirls, stop putting ridiculous threats forth to upset the digestive tracts of male readers. It disturbs the reading, and I admire women, I really do.

Last but not least, Antimony Sulfide is the world's greatest liar--while Cherokee, of a certain weight and height, eighteen and atrociously poor at math, the chemical name for stibnite must come out of the closet about something--he is a SHE. SHE is an Elfwood member, does not love Vincent like fangirls will but sort of respects his suffrage and pathos. (Her favorite character is actually Nanaki--noble and wise and true if ragtag and demeaned--that aspect of him really captures everything I know in a nutshell. The story, written on my brother's dare, doesn't quite reflect my mood toward the character.)
