I am an admirer of all excellent stories. My Favorite ones are the long epics that have more than just action or more than just romance, but have a healthy balance of all the categories. For example, my most loved movie is Star Wars, and in literature it is The Lord of the Rings. My Favorite authors are C.S Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien. Both were great geniuses whos' knowledge and vision was and is still overwhelming. Although I adore all of these I must admit that my tales cannot compare to the deep plots of George Lucas or the wonderful wording of Lewis and Tolkien. I'm just a dreamer.. So don't expect Shakespeare-

I've created an account on Livejournal to in some way aid my writing. I though that if I could get small bits of my chapters out there it will by a motivation and much less of a frustration for you. Once I have all parts of a chapter out, I'll put it here. Or something of the sort.

I never dreamed that I would be writing on Fields of Rain for years. But here I am almost 5 years later and no where near the end. I like to believe that I'm getting a little better at writing, but in all honesty I haven't written a whole lot. I'm almost afraid to go back and reread it over. I'm sure it's littered with mistakes that my lovely and faithful reviewers forgave. I'm not going to make any promises, but I think I shall try and pick it up again.

I thought I'd never come back here. Every few months I'd remember a silly story that I use to write for and wonder if it was still on the internet. To be honest I was embarrassed to find out. The story seemed like such a fanciful idea I use to indulge myself in. The story I'm talking about is "Fields of Rain." My old "baby" so to speak. I can hardly believe that I wrote 16 chapter for it.

It has been seven years. The day I published the first chapter on here seems like an age ago. I've changed so much since I scribbled the first paragraph down in a journal.

Recently, I've been re-watching and re-reading everything Lord of the Rings in an effort to relive a simpler time in my life. A time when the only thing I had to worry about was writing another chapter of my silly story. Something on a behind-the-scenes bit on the Lord of the Rings reminded me of this story so strongly that I had to check up on it. I'm sure it's been two years since I last did. And here it is, still here.

I'm not a writer. I've discovered this after almost four years of college. I'm more of an artist. It's easier to finish a work of art then a deep piece of literature. I haven't attempted to write anything (anything publicly published) since this story and I don't see myself writing anything new after.

BUT I have to re-read what I wrote. I have to go through that story that use to fill my daydreams. Who knows, I may even revise and give it another try. And, to satisfy my curiosity, if there are any readers still out there (although doubtful) please let me know.

I'm so full of it. I never did do what I said I would in 2008. But I'm doing so now. I'm finally adding chapters to Fields of Rain. The next few chapters may be the toughest chapters though. In all my old notes they are the chapters that I have the least on, and I can't quite remember what I had in mind. But I'm working it out.

I really want to go back and rewrite my old chapters because there are parts that make me cringe, but if I do that...this will never get done..
