Do you also think Disney could have done more with the character of Scar/Taka? For example deepening into Scar's period of being King and I had loved it if Disney had created a movie about Mufasa's and Taka's childhood. (A tale of two brothers) Or you just like him and like to read stories about him? I like to crawl into his skin, into his past as Taka because he's such a wonderful character that you will never grow tired of!
