Stories I've read that I immensely enjoyed and thought were good. This community will contain these types of themes: romance, OC's, Dropping Into Middle-Earth, angst, mature themes, and anything else I deem worthwhile. NO SLASH/FEM-SLASH allowed, this is HET ONLY and with serious effort by the authors themselves. No extreme M-Sues, simply put if the character is believable and can be related to, they should be okay. Cross-overs are fine.

The best LOTR romance stories (in my opinion of course) with an OC addition. If you know a good one not added here please PM me and I will check it out.

The right community for Legolas angst luvers! If you think that Legolas gets hurt all the time, yet somehow enjoy watching the Elf in pain...well...this is a good community for that type of reader. Trust me, I am that reader. Most stories include Aragorn, and a few include Thranduil and Elrond, and sometimes the twins. SO...whatta you waiting for? Read!

As my friend likes to say, there are parodies, parody parodies, and parody parody parodies. This community is for the parody parody parodies. In other words, for direct parodies that retell the story in another setting, in a funny way, directly parodying (is that even a word?) the lines and events of the story. This is specifically for Lord of the Rings parodies. It can be movie or book verse. These will be clean and funny.

Stories with our favorite March Warden

The best stories I have found telling of the great love story of Eomer-King and Lothiriel-Queen of the Riddermark. I love watching the young Rohirric King and the Princess of Dol Amroth fall in love and build a life together. The stories will primarily be complete in status to avoid the frustration of abandoned fictions, exceptions being a few tales that are regularly being updated. I will focus mainly on multi-chapter stories with a few especially entertaining one-shots being included.

I'm sick of Aragorn/Legolas fics, Legolas/Wussy girl fics, and just plain weird Legolas/Gandalf fics. This is a collection of the best Action, Drama, Romance, and Angst fics I could find. Ass-whuppin' time! Totally rated T for some stories, though. :) This is for people like me who just want to be engaged as a reader, without the weak stuff. Best of the best, baby. These are stories involving OCs. They involve characters that already "existed" or those who fell to Middle Earth. Genre doesn't matter.

Stories in which Orcs are the main characters or play a significant role, selected because I think they are of good quality or special interest. This community does not discriminate on the basis of sexuality: none of that "no slash" "nonslash" "slash-free" malarkey. Orcs are M-ish creatures, so "Fiction Rating: All" is recommended.
