Be it canon or non-canon, some of the best fanfiction in the Twilight ficdom is of the AU variety. Here are some good ones (IMHO). NB: AU stories can fall in a couple of different sub-categories: * Standard AU: stories that differ to book canon from the get-go and include vamps/other mythical creatures * All Human (AH): involving ALL characters as human - no vamps/other mythical creatures * Canon-based: stories set within the book series, following book canon to a certain point before splitting off

These are collections of Carlisle and Esme Stories I like. They develop the love and passion between the parents in the Cullen family. It illustrates how they can be wonderful leaders as well as parents because of their love for each other.
