Mycroft Holmes is tired; no, more like exhausted. The last three years have been grueling without the added burden of grieving for his brother. When he suddenly finds Sherlock sitting in his office, the stress and the fear of his family's mental history lead him to doubt whether his brother is really there, or whether he's a figment of his imagination.
