Legolas hears rumors of a forest south of Mirkwood that contains no living things, whether people or animals. He and Aragorn take a trip to find out if it is true…not knowing that the journey may cost Legolas his life.

This was written as a short epilogue for Cassia's "Priceless Treaure." Aragorn finally gets the chance to thank Legolas. No slash, just friendly fluff.

In the aftermath of the battle at Helm's Deep, Aragorn contemplates Rohan's losses, and Legolas speaks not of loyalty, but displays it, nonetheless.

On the eve before the Fellowship's departure from Imladris, Legolas is approached by Arwen. Aragorn has pulled away from her, and she feels Legolas is the only one she can turn too to keep Aragorn safe. Chapter Seven Up!
