The path towards the sun, towards freedom, is not an easy path. Ace, Sabo and Luffy, three brothers with dreams of seeking such freedom, know this better than anyone. Five years on, and it almost seems hopeless. But perhaps a few helping hands, and an old pirate's offer, can give them everything the world had tried so hard to take away. Ace is on the Moby and has staked his pride on defeating Whitebeard. When he loses, he didn't expect to be kidnapped. However, things are much more complicated than they seem. Ace struggles to juggle his dream, his heritage, the apparent revival of a dead brother, and everything else in between (rewrite of ASL Adventures).

The ASL trio have been kidnapped, taken to a place that people only see in their nightmares. Children are tested on and lives are thrown away carelessly. How will they escape? In which Luffy has been a bit more stupid and a lot less lucky. Sabo and Ace are attempting to save their brother by racing against time and gaining notoriety in the process. Poor Garp has been unable to catch up, due to a very impressive system of connections. What happens when the two overprotective big brothers find that the next obstacle is the Whitebeard Crew.

A teensy pain, some pain, a lot of pain. Ace always had a reason to die, but struggled for one to live. Sabo always read books that let him escape away, but he still yearned for true freedom. Luffy loved and liked everything, but was slowly losing things to show affection to. It wasn't until they stumbled upon a certain ship, person, and family. Which made their heart ache.
