Whilst searching through John's room Sherlock comes across a box full of things that are obviously full of sentiment for the good doctor, he finds at the bottom of a box a small moleskin that it a very /specific/ shade of blue. Demanding to know what it means Sherlock learned something that he really couldn't have deduced.

It takes him a long time, but suddenly he knows. Suddenly Sherlock knows what is unusual about the pocket watch that has seemingly always been with him. And then he finds out he isn't Sherlock at all.
