This was written in about ten minutes. I was having withdrawl and just needed to write some Mark and Lexie. Alternate scenes for 9x02. Starts after the plane crash as everyone wakes up in hospital. Lexie, of course, doesn't die and Mark's injuries weren't as major and were treated.

{During 8x24} - The events after the plane crash took a completely different route, resulting in the Lexie's survival. Despite being found sooner than they really were, they knew the road to recover would be a long, difficult one. But will they manage to survive it like they always do? Or will Seattle Grace Mercy Death's curse win the toll on their lives like it did with George?

You don't know if you can handle it anymore – the constant death. It surrounds you. If not just you, the other surgeons as well. And if not just them, it surrounds Seattle Grace/Mercy West Hospital too. You can't escape it, because everyone is dead. "Lexie is dead."

Clearing out an old bookshelf, Mark happens upon a DVD he barely even remembers creating. He knows he shouldn't, he knows he'll suffer the consequences afterward, but he plays it for himself anyway. He'll do anything for one last glimpse of her, even if it means destroying himself in the process. Set a year after the crash.

In the weeks following "Flight," Meredith remembers her sister and tries to come to terms with her death. This book covers 5 years of time with lots of flashbacks. Multiple characters are featured (Cristina, Alex, Derek and yes, Mark :), but it basically tells Lexie's story through her sister's eyes. Don't worry-there are plenty of happy parts! I hated the ending to 8x24. This is how I wish things could have gone.

in this story, however improbable it is, lexie survives the plane crash, is freed from the wreck. Mark lives as well and they all go home happy and alive and are completely fine after the ordeal, with a matter of time.

Somehow, just when things are going great, there it is again, the problem that had split them up twice: another one of Mark's surprise children. Will this make Lexie run again...or could this surprise daughter just be another reason of many for her to stay? "I look at her, and her eyes just scream help me...she's broken, she needs someone."

After a cruel death, Lexie finds herself stuck in a world between heaven and earth. She isn't able to move on until she solves a problem, but the issue is, she doesn't even know that the problem is that she must solve. With an old friend, Lexie revisits Seattle Grace, unseen and unforgotten.

As Lexie stuggles to get over Mark something terrible happens. Will she be able to survive the aftermath? Mark struggles to determine why Lexie is becoming more and more withdawn. Set after 7.02. WARNING: Character rape.

I hated the season 8 finale, and so this was born. These will be a series of one- shots, in which Lexie dies in only one. And I'm not looking forward to that one... :/ T to be cautious and for some language. Plus, I don't have all of them written yet...
